About the property

Wonderful Loch views from every window perfect getaway :)

Hunters Lodge was built over 100 years ago and is the exact picture that you would have in your mind when you think of coming to stay in a fabulous old Scottish granite house, its very pretty and beautiful inside

Stylish but yet not over the top, extremely modern and up to date yet and fitted out with very high standard furnishings and appliances, you will find this a super place to stay looking out over the lochs edge every morning whilst taking breakfast what could be better

Pure bliss

  • 5 of 5

We were originally booked to stay at the smaller property on this site, but due to a last minute issue, the owner offered us the lodge.

Whilst the smaller property looked very nice, the lodge was absolutely beautiful and finished to a very high standard. Both myself and partner had a fantastic week and loved every minute at the lodge. Beautiful views, great location and amazing property. Wish we could have moved in permanently and would jump at the chance of a return visit.

Beautify place to stay

  • 5 of 5

Everything about the location for perfect for us to relax and enjoy. There are lovely walks around the location and views that are beautiful around the property.

The property itself is gorgeous and is very homely and comfortable. A credit to its owners.

Would recommend this property to all.

Fantastic relaxing week anyway in a beautiful setting

  • 5 of 5

After a long 7 hour journey arrived to a warm welcoming beautiful house set back off the oban coastal road. Beautiful views across loch linhe from the front of the house. The heating was spot on, everything u need in the large kitchen, lovely big tv for the dark evenings huddled up on the sofa. Cannot fault this place we were gutted to leave. Many thanks to Tim.

Beautiful setting, beautiful house, couldn't ask for more!

  • 5 of 5

After a hideous drive through torrential rain all the way from Cheshire with a 4month old baby we arrived to a beautifully clean, tidy and warm Hunters Lodge. The lights were glowing romantically, the heating was on the faux log fire was flickering away and we couldn't have been happier!

We found great functioning kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher (with dish soap and dishwasher tablets provided), a large living/dining room and huge TV, a modern well fitted family bathroom and and 2 good size bedrooms with massive comfortable beds! Literally my only gripe was the sofas...they were very low and the cushions were fairly flat making them difficult to get out of especially for us tall people.

It wasn't until the next day that we could also really appreciate the extraordinary setting with awesome views from every window!

Highly recommended but don't book too soon as we want to come back!!

Beautiful accommodation with spectacular views

  • 5 of 5

The accommodation is beautifully decorated throughout and very cosy and comfortable. The beds are really comfortable, I don't think we've ever slept so well as we have here! The kitchen is well appointed and has nearly everything you would possibly need, the cooker is a little daunting but it was easy to figure out what to do with it once you had pressed a few buttons!!

The house is well located for visiting the area only being 20 minutes to Fort William and 45 minutes to Oban. We would definitely recommend a visit to the Grog and Gruel pub in Fort William, the food is beautiful. An excellent stay, we will definitely be returning.
