lovely apartement with squeaky floors

  • 4 of 5

We loved our stay at the apartment. Nicely appointed and well maintained. Only 2 things are on the negative side.

The first one there is probably not really much one can do. The floors are squeaking like I have never seen elsewhere. There is no way one partner can sleep in and the other one sneaks out because the noise of the floor will wake you up.

The second can be rectified, the bed is bit like a bathtub. We had to put pillows underneath the mattress to make it somewhat more even. The bed frame holding the mattress are bent which creates this bathtub experience.

Having mentioned two negatives I cannot highlight enough that we enjoyed our stay there and would stay there again.

Perfect little apartment overlooking Loch Linnhe. Everything we needed and very clean and tidy.

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful well maintained open plan apartment overlooking Loch Linnhe. Very modern and clean. Located over a double garage. Beautiful wee burn running down the side of the property. Fantastic views from open plan lounge of Loch Linnhe and mountains. Galley style kitchen with ample utensils and crockery. Tight on storage space for food but not a real issue. Very local for walking and climbing Glencoe. Well stocked coop in local Ballachulish. Lovely walk along the Loch to Holly Tree Hotel. Great food and views from terrace. Very very good Gin menu !! To summarise, a fantastic little apartment which we will definately return to.

Amazing place in the center of beauty

  • 5 of 5

Me and my fiance stayed there for three weeks and we're blown away by the quality and look of the apartment. You can tell that everything needed is supplied and there is no shortage of expense taken to the apartment. Beautiful views of the loch and close to ballachulish if you walk it takes about an hour to get there but the walk is well worth it. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Quiet retreat with a loch view with great walks nearby

  • 4 of 5

Enjoyed our stay at Lochview.Delightful apartment though kitchen lacked storage space for food items also creaking floor boards between bedroom and bathroom were a problem. Am sure these minor issues could soon be resolved and we would recommend Lochview to our family and friends.
