Excellent host and apartment was better than expected

  • 5 of 5

Tulio contacted us early to let us know he was at the apartment. He was very welcoming and showed us around the beautiful property and spoke perfect English. He explained what to do if the electricity went off, which it did on several occasions, but was easy to find the switch to turn it back on again. The apartment is better than the photos show and the high ceilings give a wonderful sense of space and light. The location is good for Venice and surrounding area if you have a car, we drove to Mestre and caught the train to Venice (cheap and 10 minutes across the bridge). The surrounding wine area is well worth a tour but the river is a lot more than a "few steps away" as stated in the description !!. The town has a good shop, bakery, butchers and a few bars although we mainly ate in Venice and the bigger towns. Tulio's father came and said hello and we had an interesting "chat" as he doesn't speak English and I don't speak Italian !!

The trip was thoroughly enjoyed by the whole family and I would highly recommend the apartment and the host.

A friendly welcome in a secure well located environment.

  • 4 of 5

Parking is on a quiet road outside the property entrance making it easy for luggage movement. Our arrival was late in the day and our host Tulio had catered for our immediate food requirements which was very welcome. We enjoyed the charming secluded garden with a shade tree where we ate our evening meals. The apartment was nicely presented and well equipped to cover all our needs. We felt the accommodation was adequate to cater for four adult people. The staff at the local supermarket 3 minutes away, were friendly and helpful with a wide choice of excellent produce. We enjoyed our short stay and would happily recommend this accommodation.

Beautiful, Spacious property in an ideal location.

  • 5 of 5

The property was spacious, nicely decorated with lots of extra touches, very comfortable and pristine. Every little detail was well thought out. Tullio and his father, Enzo, were very welcoming and considerate. The village has good amenities, including a supermarket, restaurants and a swimming complex nearby. The outdoor garden space was very useful, and a lovely addition to such a nice property. The air-conditioning was an added bonus, and much appreciated, due to the August heat. There was excellent wifi access in the house. It is within easy access to Treviso, Venice, Verona, Padova and Vicenza. The Italian Alps are a short drive away. We would highly recommend this property. Thank you Tullio and Enzo, for such a lovely stay!!

Superb accommodations!

  • 5 of 5

We were fortunate to find this apartment in the village where I spent every summer of my childhood and it was magnificent. We were in close proximity to our friends' house as well as the surrounding towns of Spresiano, Treviso, Conegliano, Arcade, Visnadello, and Ponte della Priula, where I love to visit.

The apartment representatives were kind, welcoming, and gave us excellent customer service. We were welcomed as soon as we arrived and were given a thorough tour of the apartment along with instructions on how various appliances worked. The apartment was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. It is also well lit with plenty of natural light as well as plenty of ambient lighting in every room. Basics such as toilet tissue, paper towels, laundry detergent, hand soap, extra towels and sheets were also stocked in the apartment and made our stay even more comfortable. All appliances were in perfect working order. As we visited in the middle of winter, we also found the newly renovated apartment to have excellent heating which was very comfortable throughout our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be staying here again on future trips to Lovadina.

Charming, Spacious, Clean, and Beautiful

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay, and our host was there to meet us and show us around. The place was clean, and I really enjoyed the decor of the place. It is big and spacious, and our boy (6,3,1) enjoyed the garden every day we were there. We would go back again and stay there. We were comfortable, and it made a spot to see Venice, Treviso, and surrounding areas. Took the train to Venice, and it was fast and easy, and did not have to pay the high prices of the garages in Venice. Our host sent us a list of restaurants, which were fabulous! Really had a wonderful comfortable time, and the Air Conditioning was perfect for the August heat!

Perfect place to explore this corner of North East Italy!

  • 4 of 5

This family sized apartment was a great place for our family to base ourselves to explore the area. The apartment is clean, spacious & tastefully styled with a mixture of modern and more traditional furniture. The equipment & appliances were new and plentiful as we cooked there some evenings and wer also grateful for the laundry facilities. The air conditioning was brilliant as we would have really suffered in the heat otherwise. There were plenty of fresh linens and towels to use.

We visited Venice of course but also Verona & Lake Garda as well as the 'Prosecco road' nearby. The open air pool in the village was great & some of the family tried out Wake-boarding at the excellent facility at the lake too. We had a day at the beach too, dipped in the Adriatic within an hour.

We would have liked more restaurants closer to the village so we could have left the car & walked but the recommendations from Enzo were very good.

Car: recommended

Just 500m away you will find a complex with a WAKEBOARD CABLE CIRCUIT - Cable 7 - with lap pool, gym, spa, jogging circuit, incorporated in a natural environment beside a small lake.

Very close you have a supermarket, a bakery, a pharmacy, bars, banks and shops for basic needs.

Nearby you have a great choice of restaurants, including two renowned for fish.

There are several places of historical, cultural and natural relevance Both in the area in the provinces of Treviso and of course, in the center of the city.

The Piave River, 2 km away, allows many nature trails on foot or by bike. Radicchio and green asparagus.

You can anche visit the Natural Park of the River Sile and the nearby village of Badoere with its beautiful historical square.

Both the mountains and in the hills offers several paths for discovering the "WW I" conflict. Or you can visit some monasteries, Follina and the Temple of Canova or enjoy fine on the Prosecco Valdobbiadene hills. Conegliano and the castle of San Salvatore in Susegana are very renowned places to visit as well. A tour of the cellars of the Prosecco wine is highly recommended anyway.

From the forest of Cansiglio up to Monte Grappa, through the woods of the Montello and Asolo, with its fortress and the Palladian Villas, Treviso is a province just waiting to be discovered.
