Thank you for your enquiry about my apartment in Les Rosaires.

You may wish to have some details about the property. It is a first floor apartment of about 62 square metres and is one of five flats in a small, modern block. There are, in fact, three small blocks standing side by side, overlooking the sea and just up the hill from the tennis courts and a small chapel.

The flat itself consists of two bedrooms, a dining/sitting room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a separate lavatory. A covered balcony faces south and has comfortable garden furniture , comprising two sofas and a table.

Bedroom one has a double bed and bedroom two has twin beds.

The sitting/dining room is light and spacious, with magnificent views of the coastline. There are two sofas in this room, a T.V. and D.V.D. Player, and a music system with a small selection of C.D.s. There is also a dining table and four dining chairs.

The kitchen has a small breakfast bar, microwave, oven and hob, fridge/freezer, a washing machine and a dishwasher.

The bathroom is tiled throughout, has a single wash hand basin and a bath and shower.

Bed linen and towels are not provided.

The flat also has wifi.

Les Rosaires itself is a charming village with a vast expanse of beach. There is a daily Children's camp on the beach in the summer months and there is also a well-known sailing club about two minutes on foot from the apartment. A riding school lies at the end of the village and golf clubs abound. In the village itself, there is a creperie, three restaurants, a small convenience store and a hairdresser's. The village of Plerin, which has a weekly market, is just up the hill. A large shopping complex-zone commercial- is about 3 kilometres back along the motorway- and there is an enormous retail complex about six kilometres back if you feel so inclined!

St Brieuc is the nearest large town with a cathedral, a lovely old pedestrianised shopping precinct and some super restaurants. There is a rail link from St Brieuc to Rennes, Paris and indeed Charles de Gaulle airport!

I have a parking place in the car park of the apartment block and my French neighbours are very fussy about using the correct number, which is 9!

Before the keys are sent to you, a refundable security deposit of £150.00 must be paid. On your return, keys must be sent back to me and your deposit will be returned to you within one week of their receipt.

Saturday is my change over day. You must vacate the apartment by ten o'clock on the day of departure. Arrival must not be before two 0'clock.

It is peaceful and is a truly beautiful part of Brittany, with the Granite Coast, Isle de Brehat and many other interesting places nearby. Mont St Michel is about an hour and a half away.

The amazing sea views from the kitchen and sitting room and the fact that you can start your hike along the Breton Coastline from Les Rosaires make this a very special place.

There is a Sailing School less than 100 m from the flat. It runs regular sailing and windsurfing classes.

There is also a children's club on the beach in the summer months( in French)

Tennis courts ( free) are 2 minutes on foot from the flat.

Walking the coastal path along the Brittany coastline can be started or picked up from Les Rosaires.

Golf courses abound in about a ten/ mile vicinity of flat.
