This unique Villa is located in a quiet family neighbourhood in St James above the Platinum Coast with panoramic sea views . Apple’s House is a 4 bedroom, stylishly furnished single storey villa. It has three bathrooms and one powder room and outside shower . The house is peacefully positioned away from main roads yet only 1.2 mile from the beach.

The main living area is central in the house with seating ares and large LED TV , and further dining area.

Three double french doors open onto the terrace where you have wonderful panoramic views of the west coast

There is a large terrace, equipped with sofa, chairs, hammock, BBQ, dining table and chairs to seat 8 .

The large infinity pool is long (12m ) enough to swim lengths. The mature and very private garden is stunning and has been professionally landscaped boasting an abundance of tropical plants and palms. The garden and pool can be lit up at night .

Vaulted Ceilings (Peaked at 18") give the house an airy feel . The four double bedrooms are large and airy, with two bedrooms in the north wing and two bedrooms in the south wing of the house, providing privacy for guests. One bedroom at both ends opens onto the western terrace

Separate laundry room with butlers sink, washing machine , large second tropical fridge freezer, tumble dryer and washing line area outside to dry laundry

Bedrooms: 2 Super king beds ,1 Queen bed and 2 single beds (can be put together)

Housekeeping included.

This is usually 3 days maid service on Tuesday , Thursday and Saturday. Days are negotiable with Bibi!

Well equipped Italian Scavolini designed kitchen

7 minute drive to Holetown , 9 minute drive to Speightstown

3 minute drive to Gibbes and Mullins Beach . 5 minutes to Lone Star Restaurant , the Fish Pot or Nikkis beach club.

Rental car helpful for island touring and shopping although local taxis are available

Single storey suitable for holiday makers with compromised mobility

Large garage with tabletennis table

Children welcome although the pool is not fenced or alarmed

No smoking in the house but allowable in the garden

A private cook available for individual meals, or 2 or 3 meals per day at extra cost.

Extra housekeeping is available at £6 ($15BBD)per hour .

Entry to the house is through secure electric gates with parking inside the gates on the fully tiled drive.

House manager Harry lives opposite Apple's House and is available for any queries or problems out promptly.

Why Dr Charles & Mrs Charlotte Wetton chose Bakers Woods

This is a unique property on the Island . The gardens and pool are second to none and maintained to a very high standard .

The house is very quiet and far from noisy roads in a peaceful neighbourhood, but with easy access to the beach and local towns .

Charlotte was particularly drawn to this house as she spent 8 happy years living 1 mile down the road at Gibbs with here late parents in the 1980's.

What makes this villa unique

The house is spacious with high ceilings, terracotta & stone floors and external wooden shutters. It was redecorated in 2017.

The infinity pool is always a lovely temperature with panoramic sea views. There is always a refreshing light breeze which keeps you cool . The front of the property has electric gates with a wall around the property which is secure .

The house is situated in a quiet family neighbourhood, with other large houses , with very little noise. We are a mile from the noisy coast road and the road to the house leads only to other neighbouring houses with almost no traffic . The only noise disturbance you will hear is a neighbour mowing or striming in their garden or doing some D-I-Y in the house ! You can take a walk or go jogging and nobody bothers you.

This house is set in a very peaceful location surrounded by its own garden , great for rest and relaxation , yet very close to Mullins and Gibbs beach . Unusually for Barbados ,Gibbs beach has no hotels on it and the beach is often deserted and therefore very peaceful.

We have an excellent cook subject to availability. The more advance notice for booking the better A man comes to clean the pool on Thursdays and there is a gardener who comes once a week.

Beautiful home with amazing views.

My husband and family enjoyed a blissful holiday in this house, which was all we had hoped for and more. The house is in a peaceful secluded position with fantastic sea views, yet close to a selection of fantastic beaches and with in easy reach of great restaurants, bars and shopping. The infinity pool and garden are stunning. Harry the house manager was discreetly available and attentive and Bibi the cleaner kept the house spotless. The rooms are large, airy and beautifully decorated, and beds superbly comfortable. Overall the villa was a very high standard. We hope to come again…

Apples - Spending a beautiful week in paradise

Our family arrived to the very friendly face of Harry who showed us around this beautiful home with it's stunning views. We were all astonished just how beautiful the house and views were and unless seen, words can't really describe it adequately enough. Seeing is believing! The pool was a huge success with our young grandchildren and we spend many hours playing in it. The house is very comfortable and homely with everything to make any vacation relaxing and memorable.

Harry was around to tend to all our needs and a real help. We would thoroughly recommend anyone booking to spend a holiday in Barbados at Apples House. We didn't want to leave!!!

Beautiful home, clean, spacious and very comfortable for our family. Pool and view was 5 star and landscaping amazing. We felt very secure and Harry, the manager, was wonderful. Our stay was made special by being in this lovely house.

Better than the photo’s!

We just returned from 10 amazing days in Barbados. We wanted to thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family.

We truly enjoyed our time at Apples House - it really is a spectacular home and an amazing location - the view is incredible!

Bibi took good care of things and was great with our kids. Harry met us on arrival and was really good to deal with - fortunately we didn’t need anything on his end as there were no issues with the home. It’s only a few minutes drive down to Gibbs beach (one of the quietest beaches on the west coast) and it was perfect for beach days when not relaxing poolside at Apple’s. This is our 5th trip to the island and the first time away from the beach, it was a nice change to have the space and privacy available and we spent every evening relaxing on the patio and barbecued dinner almost every night. The pool is perfect for families with a large shallow area, spa seating and a ledge around the inside to walk the perimeter if the deeper area is too deep for you to touch. Millie’s fish market on the coastal road will keep you well stocked with fresh, local fish and the new Massey supermarket in Holetown has everything else you need. If you have a car and are willing to drive 15 minutes - look for Triple D rotisserie for the best macaroni pie on the island - only open from 11-3 (excluding Sundays). Also worth checking out on Thursday -Saturday evenings is the road side food vendor on the coastal road right across from Old Trees (just south of Holetown). Thank you again for a wonderful property - we will be back!

Beautiful villa surrounded by verdant garden

My extended family spent a wonderful week at Apple's house. The kids had a ball in the pool and we grownups spent many hours relaxing on the comfortable, spacious terrace looking out on the Carribean in the distance. The pictures are absolutely true to the feel of the place. The interior is spacious and tastefully decorated. There is a vert short drive to a beautiful beach (Gibbes). It was hot and we were glad they had good AC in the bedrooms. This place is a great deal! The neighborhood is rather mundane but you will not know it when you are inside this verdant and luxurious compound.

The house is located 1 mile from the platinum coast beaches.

There are many restaurants in Holetown and along the coast. However the house is in a very quiet location with no night time traffic and it is a safe family neighbourhood. Chris' Place is down the Hill and is great for music and an inexpensive meal and drinks. Mullins beach bar down the hill.
