The houses of Fuente Vieja are typical renovated town houses.
The houses are for 4-6 people, they have two rooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds or bunk beds and a sofa bed that converts into a bed of 1.35 in the living room. If they need it, we have a cot. The houses are within the town, near the river, in a quiet area but at a step away from everything. They are renovated town houses. They do not have luxuries but they have everything they need to spend a few days in a comfortable and quiet way. The houses have sheets, towels and utensils, except cot clothes. There is a washing machine, oven, cooker, microwave, iron, ironing board, blender, coffee maker ... Each one has its patio with its barbecue, where you can spend very good times. In the houses there are pellet stoves.
Wet is a town neither too big nor too small but it has enough to spend some very pleasant days.
The town has a municipal library, there is a youth center where they have games, game consoles ... there is always a monitor. I don't know the schedules but with a card that tb is a small amount (about € 10 I think) they can go as much as they want. One day a week in the culture center there is free cinema at night outdoors for children and young people. The municipal swimming pools are within the town and there is no great distance either by car or on foot. They are very clean, well maintained and with very affordable prices. It has a cafeteria, library, children's workshops, swimming courses and sports facilities (pediment, paddle, ...). (Cinema and swimming pools only work in summer).
There are two equestrian centers and during the first weekend of July (1-2) in the town there is a representation of the meeting that took place in this town in 1517 between King Carlos I of Spain and V of Germany and his brothers Fernando and Leonor Almost the entire town dresses for the period and there is a parade that runs through the streets of the same fully decorated. During that weekend there is also a Renaissance market.
In the village there are 2 supermarkets, several grocery stores, butchers (some raise their own cattle and the meat is very good and well priced. Almost everyone who comes takes meat from here. They prepare it and vacuum pack it). Cheese factory with an excellent sheep cheese, 2 Bakeries very close to the house with some very rich sweets and breads and a gardener who sells vegetables from the garden in the store.
Very close to the houses begins a path or lane of about 6 km to be able to go quietly by bicycle, walking or running safely. It is a very pleasant walk that takes you through the countryside to the hermitage.
Valladolid is 25 km from here and except for a small section the rest is highway.
In our province there are three Holy Weeks declared of International Tourist Interest: Valladolid, Medina de Rioseco and Medina del Campo, one of National Tourist Interest: Bajada del Ángel and one of Regional Tourist Interest: Tordesillas.
If you do not know much this area is worth taking advantage of to visit cities like Salamanca, Zamora, Segovia, Ávila, León, Burgos, Madrid that do not fly very far from here. Most are between an hour and a quarter and an hour and a half from Mojados, maximum León and Madrid, which are two hours away. They are also very close, just 18-20 km away, Medina del Campo with its brand new Castillo de La Mota and Las Salinas Spa; Olmedo where you can visit The Mudejar theme park of C and L and the Villa de Olmedo Spa; The museum of the Roman villas; The Roman village of Almenara-Puras; The Valley of the six senses and something further but not much to be able to make a boat trip on the Canal de Castilla.
The Houses are in full D. O. Wheel and very close to the D.O. Ribera de Duero y Cigales, ideal location to organize visits to wineries.
