Set in the beautiful Almanzora valley, Casa Marangie is perfectly situated to have a wonderful time in this part of the Almeria province. With blue flag beaches only 30 mins away, plus its own private pool and breath taking mountain views too........Casa Marangie is a 4 bedroom / 2 bathroom villa on one level. AND CAN SLEEP 8 PEOPLE. occupying a 500 sq meter walled and gated private plot on a residential urbanization, This is a mix of full time residents & holiday homes 60/40 split approx. This means the property is very quite and tranquil and will suit like minded guests who want peace and quite themselves and who also respect others peace too, this is not a 'party pad'. The property has its own 5 x 5 Metre private pool to the rear of the property. This can be heated in spring and Autumn months (Small extra charge of £49 per week if required). - Please note the pool will not be in use from November until mid April, due to the end of season drain down and maintenance check.

The Villa is a total 104 Sq M build, with a large open plan lounge / dinning space (for 4) which has a log burning fire fitted for winter and is also air conditioned for summer. (To keep rental costs low this is on a coin meter, why should you pay for that one person a year who rakes up huge electric bills by leaving the air con on all day with all the doors and windows open !!), with a coin meter we can pass on the savings to you with lower rental costs. From the lounge there is access to patio with outside dinning table and chairs for 8 people, The kitchen recently fitted with a Gas Hob, electric oven, Microwave, upright fridge / freezer, toaster and kettle. There is a newly installed window now for extra light & ventilation with nice views. From the kitchen you have access to a utility room that has a additional sink, washing machine and iron & ironing board.

The villa boasts an impressive roof solarium which is almost the whole foot print of the house, and gives fantastic views over the Almanzora valley and mountains to the east and south this now has a 3 metre square pergola for shade. The villa was re-furbished last year, and all the beds and furniture were new, Bedroom 1 and 3 have King size memory foam beds with two side tables and ceiling fan. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds sharing a bed side table and ceiling fan, and Bedroom 4 has bunk beds and a side table and free standing fan. ...... . There are two Bathrooms, both with over bath showers, en-suite to master bedroom 1 and main family bathroom between bedrooms 3 and 4.

Gardens and outside. The pool is located to the rear of the property and has a non slip tiled surround. This area gets the sun ALL day from around 9am to 6pm in the summer time, so we have installed a Cabana for shade too. To the front is a large graveled garden newly planted with flowering shrubs. Right hand side garden has fruit trees and the access gates to take 2 cars for off road parking. Access to the roof terrace is from the rear patio area. Also provided are 4 traditional sunbeds and 4 easy chairs / full recliners. 2 of each by the pool area and the others on the roof terrace. There is also a 3 metre parasol for use on the roof top for extra shade if required. Please note there are no ball games or football allowed in the gardens, however there is an astro truf playing field at the end of the road.

Please bring your own Pool towels, Bath and Hand washing towels are provided, as is one set of bedding. The villa is to be left in a clean and tidy state after your stay, a clean IS NOT INCLUDED, any guests not cleaning after themselves will be deducted 40 euro from the rental deposit for a villa clean

Entertainment. There is a 40" flat screen tv in the lounge, with blu-ray player that also plays DVD and CD too connected to a stereo amp & speakers, There is internet TV provided with all the main free to Air UK tv channels plus hundreds of streaming tv and Movie channels too. There is also a video and music server connected to this and the wi-fi router pre-loaded with quite a few films and literally thousands of songs, which can be streamed via the wi-fi to any wi-fi enabled device. There is a small section of games also on site. Internet Access is included in the price with unlimited downloads. Being this is a rural yet residential location we have a 'no outside music' policy at the Villa.

We had a wonderful stay here. This property is very tastefully appointed and extremely comfortable. The owners normally shut the pool down for maintenance during November - we were very grateful to them when they agreed to leave it operational for our stay. The weather was warm and very pleasant for us and it so nice just to sunbathe by the pool and even occasionally allowing a toe to dangle in there! The cooking facilities in the spacious kitchen were excellent - also the internet TV was a godsend for those who needed to keep up with Strictly Come Dancing! We were actually staying in the area to view properties for sale in and around La Alfoquia and were so impressed with how friendly and helpful the neighbours were that we actually bought a villa very close to Casa Marangie. La Alfoquia is a fabulous village boasting several excellent bars and restaurants - Bar Ceilos very quickly became our favourite, the Sunday roasts they served in there were just to die for. We are really looking forward to relocating to La Alfoquia in early 2016 and will be eternally grateful to Casa Marangie for our introduction to the area. We just cannot recommend them highly enough!

Absolutely fantastic villa!

On arrival the owner kindly allowed us early access as Our flight arrived at Almeria at 11.15am so we was much earlier than 3pm check in.

once we gained access to the villa we was amazed at how wonderful it was it's very spacious and of and excellent standard and very modern with everything you need all mod cons the whole property was fantastic the bedrooms are all a good size and plenty of storage to unpack for your stay we stayed for 2wks with a 10 & 3yr old so they slept in the same room across from the master bedroom and had their own bathroom what a luxury!

Brilliant weather with breathtaking views of the almanzora valley the roof terrace at night is amazing if like my children you like to see the moon and stars absolutely priceless!

The kitchen has everything you need throughout your stay and having a washing machine to use when needed was an added bonus.

The pictures of the pool do not do it justice as we was taken aback as to how big it really was,and believe me it was so lovely to be able to relax around your own private pool with your family no rushing out at 5 in the morning to reserve your sun lounger!!

My mum used to live in Zurgena and now lives in Albox and this was a big part of our choice when renting as we didn't want to be to far away it's a great location to visit we walked to local bars and restaurants while we were here as well as venturing into town and enjoying tapas at Latinos! We drove to Albox on many accasions and stocked up at mercadonas supermarket. We visited many markets and beaches and my husband even managed some sea fishing in Garrucha.

Friendly neighbors that make you feel welcome we met Pete and Jill who where also on hand with any assistance we needed throughout our stay we also met Graeme and Michelle and Margaret and Brian.

Overall I would say we had an amazing holiday the children absolutely loved it and if you want to relax around the pool all day you can, my daughter was over the moon that it had that so important wifi as she brought her iPad with her.my son enjoyed the pool immensely I was just happy to relax and lap up the sun as we never get a decent summer in the uk! I will definitely be returning to casa marangie for our holiday next year such a great price for a fabulous villa set in outstanding sourounding I will be recommending this villa to family and friends!

Great place to stay, great as a base for exploring

This was a newly re-furbished villa, very well appointed with a fantastic roof top terrace. Was pleasantly suprised about how easy it was to find from Murcia Airport. The village of La Alfoquia is friendly and has a lot of great places to have drink or just a place to eat. My friends and I found the villa really good as a base of exploration and the local beaches were of a good standard. The villa is located at the end of a quite cul-de-sac, with friendly English speaking neighbours all around. The little bar at the top of the street was great value and had entertainment on most of the nights we were there. The kitchen is brand new and very good for the nights we stayed in. In the daytime you can altenate between the pool or the roof top terrace. Watching the sun go down in the evening over the mountain on the roof was great with a beer. Easy to book and very good value.

La casa era estupenda, era muy grande y estaba cuidada y limpia. La piscina está genial y es más grande de lo que parece en las fotos y las dos terrazas se pueden aprovechar un montón para cenar y relajarte. Está muy bien situada ya que está cerca de la playa y a una hora de Cartagena, Murcia, Almería, etc. Sin duda la recomendamos.

Set in the beautiful Almanzora valley, Casa Marangie is perfectly situated to have a wonderful time in this part of the Almeria province. You are ideally placed between the two towns of Albox to the west and Huercal Overa to the north east, providing everything you need during your stay, from supermarkets like Lidl and Dia, to a brand new hospital in Huercal Overa

The reason we choose this location for our holiday home is that you have the lovely countryside on your door step giving you the peace and quite we go on holiday for, but if you want to go to the beach, you have 4, not one, but 4 award winning blue flag beaches all withing 30 min drive of the Villa on your doorstep.

Starting in the north,

Villaricos - Quaint and charming less developed seaside village with a small marina,

Vera Playa - the main beach and closest to the villa, does get busy in the high summer, There is also a large water park here too. ( there is also a 'natural' beach to the north side, but it is away from the main beach for all of you concerned about children.

Gaurrucha, - has a bigger working port and nice sandy beach that goes on until.....

Mojacar playa - this is a superb beach, goes on for miles and even in July and August it never seems over packed for too busy,

Up from Mojacar you have the Pueblo which is a lovely place to visit after the beach, take in the amazing views of the whole coast with a beer and Tapas in the main square ( as seen on many a place in the sun programs)

La Alfoquia is a small but lively village just 4 Km off the A7 motorway, giving you that easy access to the whole coast. In La Alfoquia there are a total of 8 bars / Restaurants, everything from traditional Spanish Tapas bars to a fish and Chip shop.

If you want something more exotic there is a lovely Indian restaurant in Zurgena only 1 mile away, or a great Asian Restaurant just past Arboleas just 3 miles away.

In the summer months from May to September the communal swimming pool is open, for those that want to get in some proper length swimming it is 25 metres long, The fee, 2 euro per adult and 1 euro per child. This is great if you have kids but want to have a little peace in the villa pool !!!

Opposite the pool is a newly open bar run by a British couple. This serves good food too and has entertainment throughout the week, including live music most weekends, this is only a short 3 to 4 mins walk from the property,

Shops in the village include a convenience store, hardware store, 2 banks both with ATM's and a bakers
