I have travelled in many countries of the world organizing by myself all details of my trips. I have seen plenty of wonderful places, but when I come back at my home I always think I'm lucky to live in one of the most beautiful places…My ancestors were swiss born, but my family is in Italy from 200 years. I was born in Genoa, I have completed my studies in Milan and when I was 18 I definitely wanted come back to Rapallo.
The Owner purchased this villa in 1920
This was my mother's house. It's an old building, it was made with big stones. Stunning views on the Portofino's bay, in a quiet context. 20 minutes walking to Rapallo on a scenic, pedestrian route. Close to the public, international library of Villa Tigullio. No
You'll be my only guests...! No more than one group each time...I live in a separate area of the property, I'll be at your disposal when You like even if Your privacy is a priority.
In our region, with plenty of hills and different levels, few properties have direct access from the parking to the room without any steps! Very close, but with steps, to the cosy, public beach named ″Pozzetto″. Tennis table. Children are welcome. I own a cat, very friendly, and I can't accept Your pets….sorry. I provide daily free breakfast, according to your tastes (local focaccia, ham, cheese, croissants, moka coffee...) and you'll prepare by yourself. Free mineral water is included during Your stay! (Even if tap water is drinkable)
We went to Gran Panorama with a girl 9 years old and a boy 13 years old to have an early Easter vacation. The place was easy to find, and the owner Francesco responded immediately to our phone call when we arrived, so easy get in to the property. Very good parking lot at the premises with an electric gate.
As the photos shows the view is really stunning and the terrace is quite big if You like to relax there. Separate refurbished bedroom for parents and access to the living room, where you will find the sofa, which folds out and is sufficient as bed for 2 persons. The bathroom is refurbished as shown on the photos.
The owner Francesco serves a good breakfast every morning, and there is enough to take away some food, if you plan to go for a trip. Francesco is very service minded, he helped us a lot suggesting places to go, and our children got very well along with him, so do not hesitate to go there as a family.
The city of Rapallo is only a walk away, and we learned that we did not use our rental car during the stay at all. We did a small journey to Sestri Levante one day, but we used the regional train, which is easy and affordable, and no need to worry about where to park the car.

Apart from the great views and amazing location Francesco is a fantastic host. He is welcoming. Friendly. Informative. He can't help you enough! We loved our stay and will be going back. Great value in a beautiful part of the world. Best day was a long walk to Potofino and back with a short ferry trip. Thanks for everything Francesco and whenever you need a campervan in England look me up and I hope to return your great hospitality.
Wonderful!!! Like staying with family! Francesco is so warm and kind. Made us feel very welcome. He was also a personal concierge, helping us navigate our way through Liguria. Our stay would not have been the same without him!!! We miss him already!
Francesco was our host and he truly went above and beyond the call of duty. The accommodations were first class all the way and the views from our room and the patio are simply magnificent. Francesco not only provided everything promised, he offered excellent advise and helped with translation.
Francesco is genuine, helpful and a gracious host. We could have not asked for a better experience. This truly is one of a kind place. The view from the room is spectacular and unmatched. Everything about our three night stay was perfect. Delicious breakfasts, detailed knowledge of the surrounding area, unlimited suggestions for things to do. I highly recommend it and I will return. A spectacular place on the Italian Riviera.
Where do we begin? Francesco was the most incredible host , if we were happy....he was happy! The location was beautiful, so peaceful yet only a fabulous 20 minute walk from the centre of Rapallo, where you could find a great selection of restaurants and bars.
Cinque Terre was only an hour down the coast by train and well worth a visit.
The view from the garden was incredible and we loved it so much we are already planning to visit again next year.
