Fully screened doors and windows. 20 foot motorized, retractable awnings TV and enhanced wifi. Additional studio outbuilding. Access to private farm with tours and fresh farm products available (www.beaverlakefarmny.com). We can have them in your fridge waiting for you!

Quiet and soothing ambiance. Comfortable, clean and convenient. Approx. 3 miles from town - groceries/gas. Located approximately 2 miles off Exit 96 of Route 17 on DeBruce Road. A fabulous retreat.
The Cottage has a renovated studio outbuilding which can be used for an artist's studio, a writer's retreat, a child's playhouse or simple outdoor dining and enjoyment.
The property has newly acquired gardens, ponds and approximately .25 mile private stream frontage on the Willowemoc. Combined with public access the property offers approximately 1 mile of fishable stream.
My husband and I, along with our dog, had a lovely weekend at the Stone Cottage. While the interior space is very quaint, the cottage is equipped with all essentials from a full kitchen, clean linens/towels, updated bathroom and small flat screen TV w/ cable. We found comfort in the small space. Our dog had a great time playing in the yard and in the fenced-in pen in the back. The area has a lot to offer, even in the winter. We went hiking on a few close trails, visited two breweries and had good meals at the nearby Arnold House and sister property, North Branch. The town of Livingston is small, but cute. There is an amazing market/café in town that sells the freshest produce, meat and cheese along with a number of other snacks and food. We would definitely recommend this house to others!
this is a very very cute cottage and Diane the owner keeps it immaculately. we stayed there with our two small children and it has all we needed! great garden with tons of outdoor space, comfy beds, cute and handy kitchen (and a dishwasher!!), nice and clean bathroom, cozy living/dining room. it is close to Livingston Manor amenities (especially Main Street Farm and the new brewery are highly recommended). i only give 4 stars for property because it is located on a rather big street, and for value because we had to take care of our own trash and struggled to find a transition station open in this rather small and remote place, drove around for quite a while and ended up driving it all the way back home to NYC and trash it at our home. but nevertheless, we loved this place and would love to return one day again.
This is the second time we have been to the cottage. Once more, it was the greatest break I could expect from stress. At only 109 miles from NYC, we have everything we can dream of and do not have in Biggle Apple: peace, free of noise and dust, fresh air, and beautiful surroundings all around! I just missed the deer we saw in 2011! The cottage is ravishing, has everything we needed and has this large corral where my 2 little Pomeranians were literately jumping of joy (like rabbits do when they run)! They both recognized the place right away and were so frantic that they made me regret to have to come back after only 3 days..... We spent our time relaxing and basking in the sun on the porch and drove a little bit in the catskills where the scenery is absolutely stunning! It was perfect.
Also the owner kindly replied right away to text messages and calls we sent for details.
This location is a piece of jewelry indeed!
We stayed here while the rest of the family camped just 6 miles away at Mongaup Pond. Impeccably clean and perfect for our needs.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful time here. We have stayed here twice before and always find a very clean and welcoming atmosphere. Would recommend to friends.
My partner and I just recently enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the Stone Cottage and were just thrilled with our stay! The cottage was immaculately clean from top to bottom, the bathroom was fully stocked with fresh linens and it felt like home as soon as we arrived. The kitchen was equipped and ready for use with pots, pans, utensils, coffee maker & filters all ready to use - we brought a cooler of our own food, drinks and snacks and really enjoyed making the place our own for a couple days. We also loved using the outdoor chiminea, strolling around the property, and looking up at the beautiful night stars.
We loved that the cottage is located close to the town center (a 5 minute drive where you can find the grocery store, the Farm Market shop with great coffee, fresh sandwiches and wonderful owners, and the Morgan Outdoor shop which also has a friendly and knowledgable owner) and also very close to Mongaup Pond for hiking, nature walks, etc.
The owner Diane made sure that everything was in order for our stay and was very pleasant - overall, we LOVED our getaway to the Stone Cottage! Not only will we be coming back again, but we'll be recommending this great spot to all our friends as well!
Our private farm is located nearby and is available for tours. We can also stock your fridge with fresh products - eggs, chicken, maple syrup, etc. -- there for you upon arrival. Near Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. Prohibition Distillery featuring vodka and other spirits recently opened in the next town, Roscoe, and is open for tours and tastings. Near Apple Pond farm - animals and renewable energy education center.
