About this property

A newly renovated 53 sqm apartment in a residential building equipped with elevator in the heart of the city. This cozy apartment is located in the Buda side just a couple of minutes walk from the Danube. Close to the S-Bahn station to SZIGET festival. Best choice for people who like the proximity of the main sights and the city center, but do not want to stay in the area of noisy bars and clubs. This two room apartment has a livingroom and a bedroom and an entire kitchen, a bathroom and a separate toilet. It is equipped with free WiFi, Flat screen TV, Hairdryer, 1 Double bed, 1 Sofa Bed. No washing machine, but there is a self service laundry in 10 min walk distance. Tram nr. 6 runs in front of the building 24/7 which goes through the entire city center.
There is a public bicycle docking station in the street of the apartment. Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the apartment.
No parties are allowed in the apartment and no commercial use media (video, pics..etc.) can be recorded in the apartment.

Inaccurate listing

The photos and listing of this property are very inaccurate. It’s listed as a two bedroom two bathroom apartment which is not true and felt fraudulent. There’s one bedroom and one functional bed. The other room the owner claims is a bedroom is a living room (which has no door or closet, it’s an open shaded space). There’s only one bathroom with a toilet. We contacted the manager upon our arrival and shared our concerns. He asked us to leave and only gave us a partial refund despite kicking us out and us not staying there. You’ll see the photos and details of the listing are very misleading. We were stranded in Budapest with no lodging because of this experience.

We loved the apartment, it was even better than the photos! Cool decor, clean, spacious, and quiet despite it being close to the street. Location is great with the main tramline stop just outside the building & so many bakeries, cafes, and restaurants around. Great communication as well!

Utmärkt läge

Det är ett lugnt läge, tyst hus, mycket högt i tak, lägenheten är väl renoverad, bra detaljer i den, men köksutrustningen är mycket bristfällig. Det finns bara små kastruller och några stekpannor. Räkna inte med att det går att laga mat mer än minimalt. Trafiken fungerar utmärkt, man kan nå alla delar av Budapest på kort tid.

Everything was smooth, it was our fault that we didn't clean the place properly because we had flight to catch and we woke up late but i think it was not all that messy as host has sent the message we got everything in the trash bags packed it but couldn't throw it out, then there was a potato bag and masala which was remained to throw out and we forgot to clean the fridge a bit but except that everything was okay but host messaged me that we didn't even clean anything at all and it is disrectful. But anyways had a good stay and the place is really good as well as the host you won't have any problems

We are a young couple. Manna and Roland. We work as an economist and a lawyer. We live in Budapest our wonderful capital city. We like travelling and experiencing new cultures and countries. This is one of our ways to ease the daily stress. We love the mediterraneanium and we travel there frequently at least once a year. We speak together four languages - German, Italian, English and Hungarian - so there is no way we cannot find the common voice :)
We are friendly and positive.
Our hobbies are travelling of course, reading and we like going to spas as well.

What makes this property unique

The apartment is located in one of Budapest's top districts, very safe area and a lovely part of the city. More residential area and it is in the upper scale of Buda. I just love this part of Budapest you can easily reach Buda castle, Margaret island, you have another nice park in a short walk, but you can easily reach the Pest side as well if you are looking for some nosie. All in all an adorable place in an adorable location, you will not regret if you choose our place.
