A two hundred year old farmhouse, lovingly resorted to the highest standard The Nest is the ultimate blend of local artisan craftsmanship and modern creature comforts.
A large open plan lounge and dining table looks out over the valley towards the slopes of the Pleney with comfy sofas around a suspended log burner, a huge rustic dining table as old as the Nest itself and separate raised snug area with bean bags, throws and furs.
The Nest is offered on a exclusive basis only* for seven nights for up to eight adults and four children including our fully catered service and complimentary resort chauffeur.
The Nest is located in the Montriond area of Morzine and is serviced by a private chauffer.
Just a five minute drive in our private minibus from the Ardent telecabine, skiers and non skiers alike can directly access the Lindarets bowl at heart of the Portes du Soliel ski area.
Les Lindarets at the top of the Ardent telecabine gives you direct access to Avoriaz, Chatel and Switerland, nursery slopes, the Stash freeride park as well as a great range of mountain restaurants and bars.
Our chauffer service can collect you from Ardent or Morzine at the end of your day and can take you back into the centre after dinner.
Morzine itself is a traditional mountain village in the Haute-Savoie region of the Northern French Alps. Originally a slate mining village in the early 1900s Morzine and the linked resort of Avoriaz now sit at the heart of one of the worlds largest linked ski areas, the Portes du Soleil.
Rather than a purpose built high rise resort, Morzine is a thriving, busy mountain village full of shops, traditional boulangeries, patisserie and traiteurs offering all types of breads, chocolate and pastry creations, cheese's and meats all locally produced using traditional methods.
There is an excellent choice of restaurants offering traditional Savoyard cuisine such as fondue, raclette and tartiflette as well as menus from other regions of France and contemporary world cuisine. There's a great mix of lively traditional and après ski bars all stumbling distance from the lifts with loads of live music and après ski atmosphere.
In the village itself there's loads to keep kids and non skiers entertained with an ice rink, cinema, sleigh rides and evening events such as the torch light descent that happen throughout the week as well as sledging, snow shoe trekking and snowmobile tours right on your doorstep. Morzine even has its own successful ice hockey team you can watch on Wednesday nights in the Palais des Sports!
