This apartment is in a quiet residential street a 5 minute walk to the village of Veyrier du Lac and 10mn from the lake. The property benefit from a private terrasse and garden with amazing views over the lake and mountains: the perfect spot to enjoy an alfresco meal!
The living space kitchen/dining areas, lounge areas are located on the ground floor with sliding doors leading onto a lovely private wooden terrace with an outdoor dining table and chairs and BBQ.the use of the private garden space. A path on the right hand side leads you down to the swimming pool.
On the first floor, you will find two bright double bedrooms, both have twin beds and a shared balcony overlooking the lake. A family bathroom with toilet, large vanity unit and bath with shower over is also on this level.
A half flight of stairs higher is the master bedroom with queen size bed and decorated with antiques and the top floor has a playroom/snug area with sofabed, TV DVD player, games and books to keep the youngsters entertained during cooler nights in.
The property also has a laundry space in the garage just to the side of the main entrance.
The property is a great family space to enjoy summers and winters along Lake Annecy. Veyrier is a wonderful location to benefits from the calm and beauty of the lake side, easy access to gorgeous Annecy and Geneva airport and as a departure point for outdoor adventures and day trips to the mountains and ski resorts.
Michelle And Claude now look after our place for us . We are a family from Ireland who fell in love with Annecy & decided it was a great option for both winter and summer family holidays. Our two daughters still love going there seventeen years later!
We love the tranquility of the house & especially the garden space and views.
There simply just is not enough time to do all the things we would like to do. We also thought when we bought the house that we would travel all over France exploring different areas. This also has not happened as it is just so hard to leave the place when we get there!!!
The location is fantastic , with its close proximity to the lake, charming village of Veyrier and Annecy town . It is also a great departure point for cycling rides around the lake, treks in the mountains and to the mountain lakes and day trips to ski stations.
Local shops are 5mn walk away and you will find all you need: butcher, baker, grocer to ensure you enjoy all the delicious food that the area has to offer!
Firstly the views of the lake are stunning from both the decking of the apartment and the balconies from each of the upstairs bedrooms.
Very quiet location which was great, set up a small Hill which made for excellent views. A short maybe 20 minute drive and you can be in Annecy which has great restaurants and is nice to walk around of an evening.
The lake was lovely and warm and we enjoyed swimming almost daily.
Claude was a great host and we would definitely recommend her apartment for a nice break.
stayed for 2 weeks at Veyrier du Lac. Wonderful location, beautiful lake, clean, warm, excellent for swimming, sup-ing, boat rental, alpine mountain scenery around the corner, parapente center 10 minutes away, nice little picture postcard villages. Appartment is somewhat dated but roomy for family of 5 and appropriately priced considering the expensive area, clean and properly equiped. Good parking facilities, very nice view over the lake and nice shared pool which we had mostly for ourselves. Village 5 minute walk, beach 8 minutes, 4 minutes by car, pretty city of Annecy 10 minute drive.
Une superbe vue depuis la terrasse. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Claude qui a répondu à toutes nos questions. Seul bémol : le mobilier n'est pas très moderne et il faudrait un parasol autour de la piscine : le soleil a tapé fort cet été !
Located in Veyrier on the Eastern Side of Lake Annecy, the property benefits from amazing over the pristine lake and the mountains. Ideal in summer to enjoy the sunny terrasse and pool, the property is also fabulous in winter with views are just as fantastic and with easy access to local ski stations such as Manigod, La Clusaz and Grand Bornand. Annecy is only 10mn away.
