Beautiful 2 bedroom Apartment overlooking the Historic Royal Mile

Beautiful very well located apartment on the Royal Mile. 2 large bedrooms, 1 boxroom and spacious lounge/kitchen looking onto the most Historic street in Scotland.

This impressive second floor apartment is a perfect base from which to explore this beautiful city of Edinburgh, whether for business or pleasure. This is a gorgeous apartment which is furnished to a luxurious standard by a leading interior designer. It is within walking distance to all of Edinburgh's attractions, including Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood House. It is also a 10-15 minute walk to Harvey Nichols......

The apartment itself has a lounge/kitchen with windows overlooking Edinburgh's most historic street - The Royal Mile. A comprehensive fully functional kitchen with all appliances is accessed from the living room.

The master bedroom with double bed, has built in wardrobes and a flat screen TV. The second bedroom also has a double bed. The boxroom has a single bed to accommodate the 5th guest. Both main bedrooms are are the back of the apartment where there is no street noise.

A main bathroom with lovely bath, shower above bath, WC, sink and towel rail, completes the accommodation.

An absolutely stunning property in an absolutely stunning location. Well appointed 2 bedrooms consisting of double beds and 1 single bed in the boxroom. Fully functional kitchen with all mod cons, including dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and fridge/freezer. The large lounge with kitchen is large enough to sit and have breakfast or simply to relax in. The free WiFi (with unlimited downloads) is great for those who prefer to work on their laptops.

Only 5 minutes walk from Princes Street, a great opportunity to stay in one of Edinburgh's prestige addresses and highly recommended for corporate clients.

Lovely property in an excellent location for exploring the Old Town.

Good communication from the owner prior to our stay (it was our first time using HomeAway). Lovely flat that slept the 4 of us comfortably (could easily have slept 5). Ideal location for exploring the old town. Would definitely stay again.

Great location

This apartment was in a great location for all attractions and the railway station. It was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The owners were very prompt with emails and answered any questions we had.

Perhaps the spiral staircase should be mentioned in the description, rather than just "wheelchair inaccessible."

We had a lovely stay, but I would describe the bathroom and kitchen as looking 'tired'.

Perfect!

We loved it. It was an experience I'll never forget, to climb the stone steps and look down on the Royal Mile in front, and the courtyard of the close from the back, with the wide window seats and bagpipes playing....doesn't get better than that.

Great location and all the basics provided

Great location on the Main Street, only a 5-10 min walk to Edinburg Castle. Accommodations were nice but nothing special. Having a washer/dryer was very convenient as this was the mid way of our trip and so allowed us to freshen up. Property was ready when we arrived and keys right outside in the lock box. This was very nice so here was no need to meet up with anyone. The only word of caution would be to those who might have trouble navigating the tight spiral staircase up to the second floor apartment. Otherwise would recommend to those looking for a clean and comfortable apartment right in the middle of all the main sights and walking distance to the train station.

In the middel of everything

Location, location, location - if the location is good, everything else seems to matter less. This appartment has an exellent location on the High Street (Royal Mile) of Edinburgh leading up to the famous castle. Sitting at the breakfast table you have the best view for 'people watching' as the high street is buzzing. 5 mins walk down stepped alleyways, or 10mins along the road, and your at Waverly central station.

The two spacious bedrooms are at the back of the building, so there is no disturbance to a good nights sleep. The small third (box)bedroom doesn't have a window, but by simply leaving the door open and a window at the front of the appartment there's sufficient air circulation.

Access is via a spiral staircase which gives the feeling of climbing into a medieval turret. Fun, but not suitable for wheelchairs or those needing a lift.

Decor is simple but sufficient and everything you need is present. Not a new build so not 100% spotless or 'contemporary', but clean and spacious enough.

The owner is friendly, checking that we arrived OK and asking if there were any problems or questions. When the electric cut out one day he was quick to answer and help solve the problem (there was a temporary powercut in the whole building caused by the service providers).

We were in Edinburgh for work and conference. Colleagues visited several nights for dinner and were so impressed they wanted details - a good sign.

Excellent location- Great apartment - responsive and helpful owner

This property is right in the middle of the Royal Mile. You could not ask for a better location short of the Edinburgh Castle! We enjoyed our stay and the convenience. Edinburgh is a fabulous city and staying in the heart of the old city is the way to go. Shahid was responsive to my many questions and in the end, we left a prized souvenir when we left, and he retrieved it, and agreed to return it to us.

We would stay in this unit in a minute the next time we visit.
