About the property

This house, called La Casa de Recio, is a traditional house located in Montejaque, a small, quiet village near Ronda. This house keeps its original structure. On the ground floor are the kitchen, the living room with a fireplace, a bedroom with a double bed and a small bathroom (with shower). Upstairs, there is a bathroom and a big living area with two beds (and a foldaway bed with wooden slat supports), one sofa, a fireplace and a balcony. The house is equipped with everything you need. There is a television and a radio-CD player. There is a small collection of CD's of jazz, blues, Spanish guitar, etc., and some books and information about the village and surroundings. The kitchen has cooker, oven, microwave, juicer, liquidiser, toaster, hand blender, Nespresso, Italian coffee maker.

From the kitchen you will be able to go out to the patio, where there is a wonderful barbecue and nice views.

Montejaque is located in the Nature Park of Grazalema, so the landscapes are breathtaking and it is a perfect place for enjoying nature and doing open air activities, like trekking and birdwatching.

Montejaque is near other beautiful villages like Ronda and Grazalema and also the Nature Park of Alcornocales and other interesting places.

Why Ramón Palomo chose Ronda area

We are fond of doing hiking in Andalusia, and Montejaque is one of the best places to start wonderful one day walks. Landscapes here are amazing. We decided to buy this house because it keeps the traditional arquitecture of the village and it is located in a very quiet neighbourhood.

What makes this cottage unique

The most important place in the house is the patio: it is big, is has good views and a wonderful barbecue. There are some trees, like lemon, orange, fig tree, cherry-tree, medlar, that make this place be very agreable and relaxing.

Maison très agréable dans un village authentique

Maison très agréable et dotée de tout le confort, nichée dans un authentique village andalou. De Montejaque, il y a de nombreuses possibilités de randonnées dans cette magnifique région, et Ronda n'est qu'à quinze minutes de voiture. Les propriétaires, Ramon et son épouse, nous ont accueillis chaleureusement.

Le seul petit bémol, pour ceux qui souhaitent rester connectés, est l'utilisation limitée du WIFI.

Very pleasant house with all the comfort in an authentic village. From Montejaque, there are numerous possibilities of hiking in this beautiful area, and Ronda is only 15 minutes driving. The owners, Ramon and his wife, warmly welcomed us.

The only little problem, for those who wish to remain connected, is the limited WIFI.
