The villa combines luxury with natural materials, mainly stone. It consists of one floor. In the interior, there is a fully equipped kitchen with comfortable dining area and a living room. The decoration of the villa combines classicality and modernity.
There are two bedrooms, one with double bed (sleeps 2 guests) and one with two single beds (sleeps other 2 guests). Both bedrooms have en-suite bathroom and a spacious jacuzzi. All spaces in the villa are air-conditioned.
In the exterior you will find a large pool, offering a breathtaking view of the sea and the mountains. There are also comfortable modern sun beds and a large wooden table with wooden chairs.
This space enables you to spend unforgettable moments every hour of the day, with your friends or your family and experience absolute relaxation.
We came with high expectations of this villa from the pictures and previous reviews. We weren't disappointed at all. The location is completely private and the views of the surrounding mountains and sea were simply breath taking. To be honest we only left the villa to get supplies as we had everything we wanted for a relaxing luxury holiday. Many thanks to Vasilis and his wife for making us feel welcome and sharing there lovely villa.
Traumhafter Blick , perfektes Haus. Sehr, sehr sauber. Herzlicher Empfang. Jederzeit gerne wieder.
We stayed for a week in August, 2 adults and 2 boys of 14. The villa is beautiful and very well equipped. The layout is perfect and it is rather larger than the pictures show. (We have rented villas in different locations many times before). The service and cleaning was impeccable. The sunset out of this world. In Sfinari you have 3 tavernas at the beach, max 10 minutes walk and some in the village. Rather rustic, but ok. Do not go shopping for fodd etc in Kissamos, all you need is in Platanas, much closer and just beside the turn off to Falassarna beach, the best one. We went to Elafonissi one day. Horrible place, very overrated, but the scenic road there and back made up for it. :-) A huge thank you to Vassilis and Margot for excellent service!!! We warmly recommend the villa and would definitely consider coming back!!! Linda&Björn from Sweden
An amazing Villa, with the most beautiful views of the sunset in an unspoiled village where after one visit at one of the local tavernas, they recognize you. The owner Vassilis was quite available for questions on the property or the area and his recommendations were very adapted to the desires of our family. We hope to be able to return soon. Sfinari is the perfect location to visit some of the most beautiful beaches of Crete (Balos, Elafonisi, and Falassarna were our faves).
We had a wonderful week in Villa Sfinari. It is a beautifully located, thoughtfully designed villa with everything needed for a family of four. We very much enjoyed watching sunsets from the pool in the evening and the nearby restaurants down the hill served great food overlooking the beach. Our favourite by far was Captain Fidia's, definitely recommend it. The villa is a great location to access both the northern coast and Balos Lagoon and not too far to drive to Elafonissi in the south although be warned of the narrow roads! We also enjoyed a few day trips to Falassarna beach which is also close by and a beautiful spot. It's rare to find a place that is unspoilt, off the beaten track and a complete detachment from a busy city life, this spot was just that. The villa was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed. The owner was absolutely lovely and left some welcoming food for us, we will definitely make a return visit to Greece and the beautiful western side of Crete again. Thank you.
Sfinari village, in Kissamos, is situated 57 klm south-west from the center of Chania.
The Sfinari's settlement embraces the homonym cove. The village is built on the feet of Koytroyli's mountain and is extended to the beach.
Quiet is one of the basic advantages of this untouched place. Ideal for family vacations, far away from the noise and the crowd.
The local population, with 150 permanent residents, deals with the olive growing, the livestock-farming, the fishing, the agriculture and during summer, with tourism. That's why all the traditional food is made with the best local products and tastes so good.
In the village you will find:
2 mini markets
2 taverns and 3 taverns with fish
