This unique property has been recently renovated and converted to an exceptional standard. The kitchen offers Neff appliances and a cosy fixed seating area. The large lounge dining space is equipped with a log burner, and french doors that lead out onto the patio. There is also a mezzanine above the lounge offering a second lounge area with comfy corner sofa and TV. There are 5 bedrooms three of which have ensuite bathrooms. The masterbed offers a large dressing room area and cosy seating area.

The Cedars is a timber clad lodge nestled in Pull Woods in Ambleside, its the perfect setting for a truly memorable holiday in one of the most beautiful areas of the Lake District National Park. The nearby village of Ambleside has a wide array of restaurants, cafes, pubs, shops and galleries. The Cedars has lake access and is surrounded by the woodland and it's extensive wildlife. The Deer can be spotted wandering through the woods most days.

The Cedars is a really unique property, its a converted tractor store, lodge and offices. With its timber clad exterior The Cedars sits perfectly in it's woodland setting. It has direct access to the Lake and Pull Woods, its the perfect property for a family holiday. If you are into walking many footpaths are accessible on foot from the property, we are also a short 2 min drive from the acclaimed Drunken Duck Inn! Please note the property has access to Pullwood Bay Estate grounds and the Lake but is not lake fronted.

Very enjoyable stay!
Stayed for a week with family, adult children and partners, and two toddlers. House was just as it is in the pictures, everything was very good quality, and it was a beautiful location with the woods and the lake so close by. A lovely week!

Lake Windermere in the grounds, had picnics on a bench located on the small pier overlooking the lake.

We recently returned from The Cedars, it is a perfect house in a fabulous location.
Everyone both young and old enjoyed their stay, it was amazing.
The location is ideal and a good starting point for visiting the area.
The washer, dryer, and utility room came in very handy.
The only downside as already mentioned by a previous reviewer, are the noisy /creaky floor boards in two of the bedrooms.

3 couples stayed here for a 3 night stay and it was in a perfect position.

Spacious, well furnished and in very good condition. We would return to this property. Squeaky wooden floors upstairs makes it impossible to sneak to the loo in the middle of the night, but otherwise perfect.
Superb woodland lodge, great for families as very secluded and safe for kids to run free.
Highly recommended, beds are very comfy, use of private jetty for boat owns was brilliant as we traveled to Ambleside and Bowness daily by boat, far faster then driving and allowed for a few extra drinks! We will be back for sure next year..

We offer a min three night short break outside of peak and premium season, this starts from £650 for three nights in low season and £850 in high season. Please note the deposit and balance are non refundable, our guests are advised to have their own holiday insurance in place. Our changeover Day is Friday. We act only as agents for the owner, your contract is with the owners. We cannot be held responsible for any issues or neglect on the part of the owners as maintenance of the property is controlled by the owners.
