Located in the Pleasance area, only a few minutes walk from Edinburgh's famous Royal Mile, Holyrood House and Arthur's seat , this modern two bedroomed first floor apartment is just a short walk from many of Edinburgh's tourist attractions and there are excellent local amenities. Although this self catering apartment is in the centre of Scotlands bustling capital city, it is set in a lovely quiet courtyard with private parking, there are also many bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity,the apartment is newly refurbished to a high standard for you to enjoy a comfortable stay

Description of property was accurate and would recommend to others.

This lovely apartment was perfect for my wife and I and our 2 adult children. It is very clean, quite and well appointed. it was only a couple minutes walk to a main street with many amenities such as a grocery store which was very handy. This main street could be taken an additional 7-8 minutes to be in the very center of Edinburgh with plenty of places on the way. Our host Wendy was excellent and met us upon arrival to review the apartment , she made us feel right at home. Thanks again Wendy for sharing your wonderful place.

Clean, quiet, comfortable, and attractive

My daughter and I stayed here while attending professional meetings in Edinburgh. We both enjoyed this spotless, well-appointed apartment very much. The kitchen was well equipped for our cooking needs. The beds were comfortable, and the walls thick enough so that we could not hear each other talking on the phone when we were in our rooms. The flowers Wendy left us, and the light from the large window in the living room, were both cheering. We would definitely come back, and recommend the apartment highly.

Nicely furnished, excellent central location (with a Tesco located 2 minutes away), very clean and tidy, and the landlady was really helpful when we arrived (at 11pm)!

Clean, modern property

The property is in a block of flats, most of which seem to be occupied by families. The flat itself is bright, clean and modern with comfortable furnishings and beds. The owner was waiting for us and we appreciated the welcome basket. The kitchen had ample cooking, serving, and dining utensils for our family of four. The euro-style dishwasher and clothes washer both worked fine. I would stay here again without question.

Just to be thorough I'll list our only two nitpicks, although both of these are very minor. First entry to the apartment is up an enclosed staircase shared with other flats. The stairwell area smelled very tired and a bit moldy despite the lonely air freshener. On first ascent we were worried the flat would follow suit. Fortunately the apartment itself was fresh, clean and bright. Since we were only actually in this staircase area for less than 2 minutes during a 2 night stay, this was not a big concern. Second, the parking space is up against a wall and a bit of a challenge to back in to with a larger car (which we needed on this trip). The owner advised against leaving the space on a Friday night as locals sometimes 'borrow' the space on nights out. We were in fact out on Friday night but had no problems. For a medium to small car there would be no issues.

Stunning property and location

What a fabulous apartment we stayed in, so close to the city centre as well as a Tesco's round the corner. We could see the top of Arthurs Seat from the living room windows. The place is warm, light, beautifully decorated and the quality of the furniture and finishing's are great. The kitchen is light and opens up into the main room. . Great location if you are visiting children staying in Pollock Halls. Having a private car parking space so close to the centre is a major bonus. We felt very welcomed here by the owners and can't wait to come back again
