This lovely bright refurbished contemporary apartment is located just 20 meters from the wide sandy beach area. The beach has full facilities including sunbeds, chiringuito beach bars, water sports and children´s activities. Situated on the front line, the apartment is located on the third floor, there is no elevator. The sandy beach, marina, pine walk, main plaza and promenade are all very close by.

The apartment has a lounge/dining area with comfortable modern furniture, flat screen television. Patio doors open onto the balcony which is furnished with table and chairs . There is one bedroom with double bed and air conditioning. There is an option to add an additional 2nd bedroom with a double sofa bed which is opposite the front door of the apartment, it is a separate self contained room with a double sofa bed in this room, the bathroom facilities are back in the main apartment therefore guests should consider the suitability of the extra bedroom before renting the additional room. There is a modern bathroom, one with walk in style shower, wc and contemporary wash basin. The washing machine and linen storage is also in this bathroom.

There is no elevator in the block.

Free Wifi is available in the main Plaza or it is possible to rent a wifi router from the local hire shop if you need wifi to have 24 hour access to wifi router in the apartment.

We enjoyed our week stay here very much. The apartment was comfortable, nicely laid out with good space, in a good position and with an excellent outlook within this very attractive part of Majorca. The property was easy to find (on one way street) with free parking usually found a few minutes away. Reasonable sized supermarkets a short walk away.

We would recommend to friends who like this type of accommodation.

Nice apartment in great location

Nice apartment with fantastic views of Port de Pollensa's bay. 30-second walk to the beach. Clean, nicely decorated, owners reply immediately to emails prior to arrival - and help us to transfer from Palma's international airport to the apartment. Only a minor problem: it's a third floor with no elevator and the stairs are in bad condition. Highly recommended.

Super Location, nice pad

We had a super time here in Puerto Pollensa, 2nd time staying at Vista Marina, perfect location and breathtaking views. The apartment is very modern and comfortable. The entrance is a bit old but it is clean and and what is important to us is the fantastic pad that you are staying in. There is no WiFi but we upped our 3g for £10 for the week so it didn't bother us and we were offered the option of a mobile router but we didn't need it. There are loads of free WiFi spots around the port anyway.

Some good eating spots nearby, there is a new Tapas restaurant where the sports bar used to be and we really like the Corb Marie Restaurant, amazing steaks there.

Can also recommend North Mallorca Charters if you want to rent a boat, good prices , take a 2 hour or 4 hour trip out. Ross our skipper knew all the best spots we had a great day out with them. Defintiely will be back next year if not before. Thanks to the Vida crew for making it a special holiday once again.

Apartment is in a good location

The apartment is in a great location however there was a fair bit of confusion when we arrived. The instructions read number 38 however the entrance has number 40 above it. The entrance hallway and stairs are disgusting. The front door is left open all the time and people use it as a toilet in the evenings! There were cockroaches in the walkway and it was extremely dirty. The stairs are steep and in the heat its is an effort to climb to the third floor. The apartment itself is very modern, nicely decorated and spacious. The view from the balcony is excellent. There is only air con in the main bedroom and the second room across the hall is very hot and stuffy. There is no wifi in the apartment or on the balcony. There is a car park directly opposite however you can only pay for 2 hours and have to go back to top up the ticket. If you can, find a white parking bay in the streets around the main high street as these are free residential spaces. Any blue spaces are chargeable.

Owner's Response: We are sorry for the confusion on arrival. The instructions that are sent do include a photograph of the entrance door which is very clear which door is the entrance, the reviewer decided not to print off the full instructions and this is why she got so confused, the other 50 plus guests we have had here have found it without any problems at all. The communal entrance would benefit from some refurbishment, but the owner is only one of 4 other owners and they all need to contribute to the refurbishment work. We admit that it isn't the prettiest of entrances but we do pay for it to be cleaned every week and the other issues really are not there. It may have been a very isolated incident that occurred during the fiesta, but I have been there every week and not witnessed what she has said at all. We now pay our cleaners to clean the communal areas every week and even though it is not modernised it is clean and tidy now. We have now at least managed to persuade the other owners in the block to start discussions on how to improve the entrance, in the meantime we can guarantee that it will be clean and tidy even if it is not fully modernised and contemporary like the apartment itself. Once inside the apartment on the 3rd floor it is as beautiful as you can see on the photos. The apartment doesn't have it's own wifi (it is not advertised with wifi) in the main Plaza there is free wifi or you can rent a mobile wifi from the local hire shop. The apartment is great for 2 people, the second bedroom is not part of the apartment and is across from the main front door, very few people rent this apartment as two bedrooms it is there as an option but we really consider this to be a one bedroom with the option of an occasional use room if you really want to use it. Parking in the blue bays are usually only chargeable in July and August, even then it is not expensive and there is plenty of free parking away from the central area. It would be great if guests wrote balanced reviews the good and the bad. There are always things you can find if you want to look for them. We are in resort, tell us if something is bothering you, we are here to help

Nice modern apartment fight by the marina

The apartment was easy to find and apart from a slightly grubby entry up some communal entry stairs and passage the apartment met all of our expectations.

Very clean on entry the views over the marina to the mountains beyond were exceptional. Plenty of space with a nice lounge and good sized modern kitchen with all facilities.

The bedroom a/c worked well and kept the apartment cool all day , the only struggle was in the morning when a lack of blinds meant the lounge got hot quickly with no respite from the sun.

Overall very pleased with our stay , the only feedback we would give is to possibly fit a blind to the front window to gain shade if required.

Would recommend staying here.

Owner's Response: Hi, Thanks for the review. There have been curtains added to the apartment to block the daytime sun if required. The title I think there is a typo it should read "right by" rather than "fight by" We have cleaned up the communal entrance at our own expense, it still isn't fantastic but without the assistance of the other owners we can not refurb the entrance. Our cleaners are now regularly cleaning it so even though it is not a superb modern space like the apartment, it is clean and tidy. The other owners have now started discussions about improving the entrance. Many thanks.
