Elm Grove Mews Cottage offers self catering accommodation in the carefully constructed and converted old stables at Elm Grove Country House in St Florence.
During Summer Season change over is on Saturdays only
All the accommodation is tastefully furnished with central heating and have new, well equipped kitchens which include the relevant amount of utensils, crockery and cooking equipment, for the stated number of people in each cottage. Beds are made up prior to arrival, so there is no need to bring your own bedding.
The Mews and can comfortably sleep up to six people.
•A family room with double bed and a bunk bed
•A double room (both bedrooms have a wash hand basin)
•The upstairs bathroom has a shower and bath
•Downstairs shower room
•A comfortable lounge with three piece suite and an electric fire, large flat screen TV, freeviewand DVD player
•A separate dining room with further comfortable seating plus dining suite
•The kitchen is newly fitted and has a dishwasher, microwave and electric cooker, fridge/freezer, and the cooking utensils.
•The cottage is fully centrally heated and is an ideal place for those winter breaks.
•Electricity is metered and £1 coins are required to be put into the meter by guests (as a guide £5 - £7 would be sufficient during summer months)

Elm Grove has been in the Rees family for 3 generations, having been purchased nearly 60 years ago by Mr J Rees - who is still going strong at 99 years old. The old coach houses were converted into 3 mews cottages, Mews 2 is still available as self catering accommodation. Elm Grove Country House is currently run by Jane & Alan Rees-Baynes and the Mews is run by Mrs Jones (daughter of Mr Rees).

Elm Grove is quite unique - it is surrounded by lawns, gardens and 20 acres of fields making it very private. The Mews are based at the rear of the big Country House and enjoy the facilities available within the grounds. The Cottage is spacious with private parking and it is just a 2 minute stroll down the tree lined drive to the village which has 2 pubs, a village shop and park. We are located just 5 minutes drive from Tenby, Saundersfoot and Manorbier where guests can visit the beaches and castles as well as the world famous Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Other attractions from theme parks to cathedrals and castles are within easy driving distance. Anna's Welsh Zoo and Heatherton are just 1 mile from our location.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is just 3 miles from St.Florence and offers some of the best scenic walking routes in the country. There are also a number of walking/rambling/cycling routes which pass directly through the village.
St Florence is located within easy reach of the blue flag beaches of Tenby. Within driving distance are Saundersfoot, Manorbier, Fresh Water, Barafundle Bay and many other beautiful beaches along the Pembrokeshire coastline.

Close by in Penally you’ll find Trefloyne Golf Course www.trefloyne.com an 18 hole parkland Golf Course, constructed in 1992 and totals nearly 6,700 yds.
Pembrokeshire also boasts the oldest Golf club in Wales at Tenby Golf Course www.tenbygolf.co.uk, which was founded in 1888, it is a superb 18 hole Championship links course with beautiful sea views just 3 miles from Elm Grove.
Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is the only truly costal National Park in the UK and boasts some of the most spectacular scenery and diverse wildlife and vegetation in Britain. The total area of the Park is 240 sq miles (sq 620 km), and the coast line totals 258 miles (416km), giving walkers of all abilities an opportunity to see some truly beautiful and unique scenery.

St Florence is also central to a range of cycle routes (including route 4 of the celtic trail) which run through the county. We do have overnight storage areas for bikes if required. The Tour of Pembrokeshire takes place in the county each year and is a challenging event for cyclists.
In the grounds alone guests have spotted 15 different species of bird as well as a growing family of rabbits & squirrels who play among the trees in the orchard, on the lawn and down the drive. Walks in the local area and slightly further afield afford opportunities to see some of our wildlife up close. Some coastal walks have bird hides along the way.

Mews 2 is based in the ground of Elm Grove Country House and Mews guests are able to use the grass tennis court, croquet lawn and games room within the grounds.
