Bright and spacious attic, ideal place for a family holidays. This property ( sleeps 6) is situated at the sea front, next to Porto Colom marina. It is very comfortable and you can reach anywhere in Portocolom on foot. The two beaches are 20' walking and there is a great offer of water sports just on the ground floor of the building.

This apartment was renovated in 2013 and it is equipped with air conditioning, double isolation window panes and fisrt quality materials in kitchen and bathroom.

We rent he apartment totally equipped, with lining and towels, electrical kitchenware, TV set, satellite TV and wifi

About Maria Adrover

My name is Maria Adrover and together with my siblings I help my mother with the management of her properties.

I am a teacher at secondary school in Manacor and I have two daughters. In my free time I like practising sport outdoors, around the bay in Portocolom, and whenever possible I like travelling and discovering other cultures.

Maria Adrover purchased this apartment in 1951

Why Maria Adrover chose Felanitx

The property of Can Jaumet is an inheritance from my great grandad. He belonged to a family of fishermen and the place was a warehouse or loft, where the Jaumet family used to keep their small boats and fishing tools.

Jaumet means "little James" , and the reason for this is that all male cousins were named after the grandfather, James, following the Majorcan tradition.

What makes this apartment unique

What I like most in Can Jaumet is observing the bottom of the sea from the balcony on a clear and sunny day. If the weather is stormy, especially in winter, the waves crashing against the concrete dock stage an incledible show, which can be comfortably observed from the sofa. In the summer, breakfast under the sun screen on the balcony is a must while observing the nautical activity underneath.

Fantastic, Spacious Apartment

We were delighted with our choice of property which was as described in the listing. The air-conditioned apartment was spotlessly clean, equipped to a high standard with tasteful modern decor. The beds were very comfortable which meant we had no trouble sleeping and getting up in time to watch the beautiful sunrises.

We had good communication with the owner form the start and she was always contactable should we need to ask her anything. A nice touch was informing us that there were beach towels and a parasol we could use on the beach which saved luggage space and weight! We were overwhelmed by the 'welcome pack' which we were not expecting when we arrived. There was everything we needed for our first night and few days without venturing out to the supermarket. Within half an hour of arriving we were seated on the balcony with a glass of wine and huge bowl of fruit! There was even provisions to cook a meal on the first night and plenty for breakfast on our first morning.

The location was fantastic with the balcony overlooking the Marina and within easy walking distance to two lovely beaches.

The S'Arenal beach (15 mins walk) had a good snack bar with friendly staff and there was also a 'Chirringuita' a few yards further on for excellent seafood and tapas. S'Algar was the other natural beach used by the locals.

We enjoyed the nearby Deli for fresh bread, pastries etc. and it had everything we needed without going to the supermarket.

Restaurants were in abundance with a good choice of food without leaving Portocolom.

There was reliable public transport to venture to other places of interest without the need to hire a car. We visited Cala d'Or and Cala Fuegerra by boat which was an enjoyable whole day out. We are not into watersports but there are Jetskis and boat hire in the Marina if that's your thing! We enjoyed watching from the balcony!!

We would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives and hope to return.

Dejlig lys og rummelig lejlighed med udsigt over lystbådehavnen

For os en rigtig dejlig beliggenhed, tæt på alt, dog en mindre gåtur om til stranden. Ingen støj selvom lejligheden ligger lige ud til havnepromenaden.

Skulle vi ønske os noget, var det nogle længere senge (enkeltsengene egner sig ikke til unge mennesker over 180 cm.). Gryder og pander var ikke de bedste, hvis man gerne vil lave mad hjemme.

Excepcional localización en el puerto de Portocolom.

Apartamento en excelente estado, limpio, totalmente equipado y tranquilo. Con vistas excepcionales.

Muy cuidado y con numerosos detalles que han hecho más còmoda nuestra estancia.

Hemos pasado unos días de vacaciones familiares y ha superado con creces las espectativas.

Sin ninguna duda, totalmente recomendable.

Fantantico

Hemos estado pasando unos días en c Jaume 2, y no tengo palabras para describir lo bien que hemos estado

La casa en el mejor sitio de Portocolom,en el puerto deportivo. Desde donde veíamos un amanecer y atardecer inolvidables.

La casa está puesta a todo detalle y con mucho gusto

No falta de nada. Y tanto Maria (su propietaria) como el resto de su familia nos facilitaron enormemente nuestra estancia.

Gracias

Pienso repetir el año que viene y así mismo recomiendo esta casa para unas buenas vacaciones.

Por último, las fotos que aparecen en la web corresponden con la realidad, lo comento por que casi nunca suele ser así

If you have rented a car, you will be able to visit the neighbouring pictoresque villages of Santanyí and Artà with their open air markets and secluded bays. A visit to Palma is a must for shopping, as well. Next to Porto Colom there are the well known caves, Caves of the Dragon, in Porto Cristo. In our beaches there are the "Chiringuitos" serving food and drinks, which are a pleasure to your senses.
