Apple Tree Cottage sits on a green hillside with breathtaking views over the beautiful Teifi Valley, two miles from the colourful market town of Lampeter. This spacious and luxurious two bedroom cottage enjoys prime position in a small courtyard of converted barns, standing alone within private landscaped areas and a large wild flower meadow.
The traditional exterior hides a contemporary interior, blending modern boutique quality with timeless character. Ideal for couples or a small family seeking a quiet holiday in the beautiful Welsh countryside.
Features include a spacious kitchen, airy living room with log burner and great views, hall/dining room, master bedroom with ensuite shower, twin bedroom with adjoining bathroom, and free Broadband internet. Two well behaved pets are allowed in the cottage.
The cottage has a raised terrace facing the valley, secluded patio areas on each side, and a private meadow to wander, play or just sit and enjoy the views.
The cottage is within easy reach of the dramatic Cambrian Mountains and the stunning Cardigan Bay coast, with its pretty seaside towns and sandy beaches. It is well placed to explore all the many other attractions of west Wales.
Good golf courses are nearby. Fishing on the river Teifi or several lakes. Sailing and watersports are available at New Quay and Aberaeron. Here you can also take hire boat trips to see the dolphins and seals!
Walkers and cyclists are very welcome. The area has great facilities, with miles of footpaths and tracks to explore on foot and two wheels, including some of the best off road biking in Wales! Nant yr Arian and Brechfa Forest are nationally recognised MTB areas, while there are also level trails on old railways near Tregaron and Aberaeron. There are footpaths across the nearby hills, but for longer walks the Teifi Riverside path and the Ceredigion Coast path are a must!
But why not take a "walk on the wild side" into the valley and surrounding hills from the front door!
