The house is perfectly located in the historic centre of Christchurch immediately adjoining the Christchurch Priory and within a few minutes walk of all the exceptional facilities of the town centre, including many fine restaurants, bars, varied shops, and a small cinema / theatre.
The Harbour, River Avon, and River Stour are all within a short walk and provide some of the best fishing in the Uk and are also tremendous for water based sports, particularly sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, and paddle boarding.
Excellent beaches can be found within a few miles at Hengistbury Head, Mudeford, Southbourne and Bournemouth. A small passenger ferry runs regularly in season from Christchurch which is only a few minutes walk, through the harbour to Mudeford.
The New Forest National Park is within 5 miles and then stretches for over 50 miles.
As well as the wonderful shopping facilities of Christchurch, more significant centres can be found in Bournemouth (7 miles) and Southampton (20 miles)
