Modern, accommodating Villa

We enjoyed our stay at this villa as we loved the modern design and accommodations. It was very clean and the kitchen was well appointed if you enjoy cooking. The backyard with the pool is a great place to spend time when we were not exploring Palma. We found that the villa is located among the locals homes versus in the touristy sections, which we appreciated. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to the marina which offers lots of opportunities and good food. The super mercado grocery store was also an easy walking distance and we found everything we needed there. We found a wonderful pizzeria just steps away from Villa that we highly recommend called, Don Salvatore. The wine and pizza was absolutely amazing, as was the very welcoming owner.

Palma is an amazing city and this villa was a great place to come back to after our full days of exploring and enjoying the city.

A lovely place...with some reservations

What we wanted was a villa near the city centre, with our own pool - and this lovely place delivered....though it was a bit of a trek (25 mins +) to the actual city centre on foot. The villa was very much as modern and comfortable pictured and, if anything, the pool was bigger than we expected.

We stayed for a fortnight; I suspect that most rentals of this villa are likely to be shorter stays, which probably explains our disappointments.

The biggest single let-down was that there was no cleaning service or - more importantly - change of bed linen over the entire stay. Our previous rentals have provided both, usually weekly. Two weeks is too long for one set of sheets and we couldn't find any others anywhere.

We also felt that the kitchen lacked equipment for serious home cooking. Specifically, we would have appreciated a pair of scissors, a proper bread knife, more than one chopping board and more than one baking tray, plus oven gloves....cling film or foil and kitchen roll would have been nice, too. I understand that many people staying in Palma will eat out most evenings, but the four of us wanted to stay in some of the time over two weeks.

The points above will probably only be relevant to a small percentage of people looking to stay at this villa. For most people, therefore, this is a lovely base for exploring Palma and beyond.

Lovely, quiet oasis in the middle of a thriving city

Beautifully fitted out, spacious house with a fabulous outdoor space with pool to relax in after a sightseeing or shopping trip. It is a pleasant walk along the marina to the centre of Palma with great restaurants en route. We would thoroughly recommend it.

ohne Einschränkung zu empfehlen

Im April haben wir zu zu viert im Stadthaus El terreno unseren einwöchigen Urlaub verbracht.

Wie bereits auch von anderen Gästen gelobt, wurden wir von Antonella herzlich in unserer Unterkunft im perfekten Deutsch empfangen. Eher als geplant, konnten wir einziehen und alles war tadellos vorbereitet. Die räumliche Großzügigkeit des Hauses ist wirklich unschlagbar.

Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich der Eingang und eine dazugehörige Garage, die für einen Kleinwagen geeignet und auch bei der Lage in einer Einbahn- und Wohnstraße absolut von Vorteil ist. Leider war unser Berlingo zu hoch, sodass wir das Parkproblem dann selbst lösen mussten. Einmal hat uns Antonella ganz pragmatisch und sehr hilfsbereit aus der Klemme geholfen. Nochmals vielen Dank dafür.

Im Hochparterre geht es in den Garten mit Kunstrasen, Terrasse mit Markise und Pool. Liegen und Sitzmöbel sind vorhanden. Eine große moderne offene komplett ausgestattete Wohnküche mit angrenzendem Wohnzimmer (großer Flachbildschirm), kleiner Schreibecke, zahlreichen Sitzgelegenheiten und Duschbad befinden sich auf der Etage.

Im Obergeschoss liegen die beiden geräumigen Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und zwei neuen Duschbädern.

Alle Räume sind mit Laminat ausgelegt und ansprechend eingerichtet.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und empfehlen die Unterkunft gern weiter.

Auf der anderen Straßenseite befinden sich eine kleine Bäckerei mit frischen Backwaren und fußläufig ein kleiner Lebensmittelladen. Zwei Querstraßen weiter ist man schon unten am Hafen und ausgesprochen schmackhaftes Essen bietet L`Artista Pizzeria.

Die Buchung und Abwicklung verlief zügig und reibungslos.

Very clean and tidy, just like the pictures

The villa is just like the pictures. It is very clean and there is a lot of space. The only thing we missed was a watercooker. All the other furnite is available up to tablets for the dishwasser. The garden is very green and spacious and the pool is about 1.50m deep. There is shade and sun, throughout the day.

We found the location however a bit dissapointing. We were there in August and a lot is closed than for the holidays. Furthermore the harbour is beautiful, but there are not a lot of terrasses/restaurants with a view there. The restaurants that were open in the citycentre were very crowded and often a reservation was necessary. For us that is a bit of loosing the relaxation on the holiday.

In the garden of the villa and in the villa we had a lot of mosquitos. We did not really noticed them when we were at a restaurant, but when we were at the villa we were stung a lot throughout the day (not only at night).

Gute Villa in urbaner Lage

Die Villa liegt in einer belebten Straße fussläufig 15 Minuten vom Sa Cattalina-Viertel entfernt in El Terreno. Sie ist komplett neu bzw. hervorragend renoviert und vollständig ausgerüstet. Der Garten ist quasi uneinsehbar und hat einen kleinen aber zum Abkühlen völlig ausreichenden Pool. In der näheren Umgebung bekommt man alles was man zum Leben braucht, ein Auto ist nicht notwendig (obwohl kleine Garage vorhanden! Wichtig in der Lage), 2 wichtige Buslinien halten 2 Min. von der Villa entfernt (Linien 3 und 20). Die Übergabe war komplett unkompliziert, Antonella sorgt dafür, dass alles i.O. ist (vielen Dank nochmals!)! Man lebt dort allerdings mitten in der Stadt, es ist eigentlich nie leise und die Gartemöblierung ist verbesserungswürdig, deshalb nur 4 Sterne!

ELETRICITY: In order to prevent energy waste and excessive costs, you have an allowance of 150 Kw per week. In case of misuse of the air conditioning or heating systems or if you fail to disconnect them when you exit the house, you will be charged an extra of €1.00 per Kw . We will control and make a photo of the accountant upon your arrival and the check-out day).

NOISE/MUSICAL: It is strictly forbidden to make any kind of noise and more particularly after 23:00 PM. You are kindly requested to respect the neighbours’ rest.
PRICE/COSTS: The price only includes the number of occupants that are stated in the booking. Cleaning and laundry are NOT included in the rental price.
DAMAGE/DIRT: Any damage such as lost keys, dirt, the cost of cleaning or repairing any defects such as dirt, stains caused by wine or other products, broken glasses or the deterioration or destruction of other objects of the house.
DELIVER: The house is provided to you in perfect conditions, it must be left in same conditions. Use the home as if it were your own and use furniture and appliances with care.Please treat the house and its facilities as they were your own and make proper use of its contents and appliances.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: The security deposit is automatically returned in the same manner as they have paid by HomeAway in max. 7 days. As long as there has been no damage in the house.
