Casa Suzanne - a west-facing end of terrace townhouse within a charming complex complete with communal pool. The property comprises, to the Upper Floor, a Private Entrance, split level Living/Dining Room, separate fully fitted modern Kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a front terrace.
To the Lower Floor, a second living/TV room, two further bedrooms, a bathroom, a utility room and a further large enclosed private terrace, complete with BBQ, part covered and part open. There is also a graveled parking space by the private entrance. The Communal Pool and surrounding open terrace area is accessed from the Lower floor terrace.
Where to begin? "Wow!" would be a good start I guess... A beautifully appointed, super-spacious town house in a quiet residential neighbourhood on Ibiza, a few minutes drive from St Josep.
Four bedrooms, two living rooms, two terraces - one for lazing and getting refreshed after the swimming pool, the other perfect for family / group meals as the sun comes down with gorgeous views across said pool and out to the sea and beyond! All rooms have been minimally, but tastefully furnished by the Swedish owners, with stylish accessories and all mod-cons in terms of technology... Aircon, if that's your thing, plus the ubiquitous Wi-fi, Apple TV, speaker docks etc (must-haves for our Millenial teenagers!)
Two contemporary hotel-grade shower rooms with double basins in each, a separate laundry room with washer AND dryer (not that we needed that in the 30 degree heat) so no lengthy washing sessions on our return to the UK for us!
All beautifully clean on arrival and well kitted-out kitchen with everything you could want - EXCEPT a coffee maker (espresso, cafetiere or otherwise) but we improvised and used coffee filters with mugs in the morning. Possibly an oversight which I'm sure will be rectified immediately and the ONLY slight niggle we had.
You'd really struggle for anything negative to stay about this property and it was all made even more perfect by the property manager, Jeremy - a true English Gent - who went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. We met near the airport, as agreed, he escorted us to the property, showed us around comprehensively and gave us a myriad of Ibizan 'insider tips' for our stay. Then, on departure, he was back in the early morning to return the security deposit and brought with him an armful of gifts for my Chelsea-supporting step-son! So thoughtful, totally unncecessary but a wonderful touch. Oh, and then he reversed our car out down the drive as a final gesture - legendary! Thank you Jeremy!
Finally, a few words on Ibiza. DO read and take note of the places mentioned in the house guide and also DO go to Benniras for the sunset and DO spend one day at the gorgeous Cala Moli - 15mins away. Small, safe (pebbly) beach with a beach club behind which has a stunning pool and awesome cocktails and food!

Cala Carbo is a beautiful unspoilt beach within a delightful little cove to the south west of the island and is surrounded by gorgeous countryside and close to the mystical island of Es Vedra and her little sister Es Vedranell. The complex that the townhouse is within, having been built in an elevated west facing position, affords stunning views of not only the coastline and the islands but also the green and fertile countryside and hills surrounding this ideal location. Local facilities include an unobtrusive supermarket, a chic boutique-style restaurant, the Sardina Loca (great for continental breakfasts as well as gourmet lunches and dinners!), two delightful "chiringuitos" (beach restaurants especially Vicente's!) and as well as being close to the other lovely beaches on this coastline such as Cala D'Hort and Cala Vadella, both having superb restaurants ( Cana Sofia and Es Boldado to name just two) it is within easy reach of the airport, the chic town of San Jose, the unspoilt hamlet of Es Cubells and the famous beach of Cala Jondal, featuring The Blue Marlin and Tropicana Beach Clubs.

A Security Deposit is required of €750 to cover any damage/breakages, this being refundable once the property has been checked out on departure.
