This stunning two bedroom, two bathroom holiday apartment is nestled in Bloomsbury, one of London’s most desirable postcodes. The outstanding apartment sits on the 2nd floor of a restored traditional London townhouse. It offers holidaymakers in London luxury living and the perfect base to explore the city from.
This Bloomsbury holiday apartment in London is perfect for romantic getaways, families, small groups or business travellers. The property is ideally situated for exploring some of the biggest tourist attractions such as Covent Garden St Paul’s Cathedral, and The British Museum are all a short walk from the apartment. The City of London is a 20 minute walk from the apartment making it a perfect base for business travellers.
The apartment is accessed from the large entrance on the corner of John Street, the apartment is accessed via a grand marble effect staircase. Entering the holiday flat itself you come into the hallway which the apartment is laid out around.
Turning right as you step into the apartment you first come to the fabulous living space. This room is elegantly and tastefully decorated with high quality furnishings. The comfortable sofa also doubles up as a sofa bed, sleeping two guests. The room is decorated in a modern-retro style with a high-back chair and foot rest for reclining and relaxing after a hard day exploring the city. From here you can see out of the window on to beautiful John Street below. Entertainment is taken care of thanks to cable T.V in the living room and BT WiFi throughout the property.
The room also includes the dining space with an elegant modern glass dining table with seating for six. It is the perfect space to plan your days out together or chat with friends over a glass of wine. For business travellers this can also double up as an effective work space.
Returning to the hallway we next come to the kitchen. The cosy kitchen is fitted out with all the latest equipment and everything you need to prepare fabulous meals with. Appliances include an induction hob (great if you have children) oven and microwave. You’ll also find a Cookworks coffee maker as well a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and large fridge freezer. We also provide essentials such as tea, coffee and cooking oils. Back to the hallway and next we come to the twin bedroom. This is the smaller of the two bedrooms, with two single beds (sleeping two guests). The beautiful room is simple, yet stylish and features plenty of storage space for both guests luggage.
Returning to the main hallway you find the family bathroom. This refined, spacious, tiled bathroom is perfect for long romantic or relaxing baths as well as showers with the shower-over-bath. There is also a sink and WC. There is plenty of space to store all your bathroom essentials and beauty products. We also provide luxury toiletries for all your party (including handwash lotion, bath & shower gel, courtesy of Aqua Via.
Finally we come to the master bedroom (turn left when entering the apartment). This features a king size bed and sleeps 2 guests. The room includes a large fitted wardrobe running down one side of the room, so there’s plenty of space to bring lots of outfits, and even buy one of two more from the fabulous boutiques in Covent Garden. The master bedroom also has its own en suite bathroom with walk in shower and sink. Toiletries are also provided.
Both bedrooms are fitted and decorated to the highest standards, featuring fabulously comfy bedding, cotton sheets and gorgeously fluffy towels.

Beautiful finish, resorted townhouse feel and one of a kind.
We enjoyed the apartment which was great for two couples. In an interesting area we liked The Lamb, CiaoBella, and Lady Ottoline for dinner. Everything is clean and neat and well thought out. Lots of storage for clothes. The only down side is the shower which leaks onto the floor no matter what you do. I wish our greeter had shown us how to use the cooktop, which we did figure out. Otherwise just about perfect! Highly recommended.
We just loved this flat. The location was nice & quiet but close to everything! The owners were so accommodating & our driver, Mark, was charming. Very clean & beautifully decorated. I would just caution that it is a 4th floor unit which might be hard for some renters. It was no problem for us at all! Thanks & we will be back!!!
Highly recommend this flat. It was very comfortable and nicely furnished. This flat is located in Bloombury and MANY attractions/pubs/stores are within walking distance. It was a pleasure dealing with the realtor - top notch and VERY PROFESSIONAL. We were delayed 15 hours before our departure and everyone was so helpful in making sure we had a friendly face to greet us when we arrived in London. Just outstanding customer service and a truly outstanding location for this flat!! Would return in a heartbeat and absolutely recommend this to others visiting London!!!!
Although I have lived in London, this apartment was not in an area I was familiar with - however over the week we were there I came to realise what a fantastic location it was. Although about ten minutes either way to Holborn or Russell Street tube stations, the walk was not difficult and with an extra 20 minutes or so of easy walking, you could get to Covent Garden, Leicester Square or other tourist hotspots. This was extremely handy when many of the tube stations flooded after heavy rain.
There were numerous choices for takeaway food, pubs, coffee (coffee nook Hopper was in the same street and became our breakfast coffee go-to spot) and a Co-op supermarket just a couple of minutes away.
The apartment was clean, tidy and modern and served our family of five well (second bedroom was a little tight as we chose to put the third teenager onto a folding bed in there rather than on the foldout couch in the living area). The kitchen was tiny but had everything you needed for simple cooking or reheating.
I must mention that I think we were a little unlucky - the day we arrived there had been heavy rain and water had leaked through a ceiling light fitting and onto one of the single beds, which was quite wet.
When we contacted a property manager, she did her utmost to be helpful but it was obviously going to be a bigger problem than could be fixed during our stay. The mattress apparently could not be replaced quickly but I was very unimpressed with the man who came and delivered fresh bedding, flipped the damp mattress over (mattress protector and all) and then left me to remake the bed myself, closely followed by the very grumpy builder who could not seem to understand why he was there and scolded me for not realising that I could take the 'window limiters' out myself so I could open the windows properly
(Grumpy builder: its just a legal requirement! didn't you know that? Me: Why yes Mr Builder, the first thing I normally do any time I check in to a new property is work out how I can violate some building codes)
If not for the wet bed incident I would have had only positives to say about this property - it is a given that in central London you will pay top dollar (or pound) and we were prepared to accept that. I would happily stay here again and would recommend this property to friends and family.
Our family of four had a wonderful time in London and this apartment worked well for us. It is as beautiful as the pictures look. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants. Groceries are also close by. It's a 10 minute walk to the tube and even closer to the bus, which our kids loved.
First of all the flat was amazing. I love the towel warmers in the bathrooms. Location is perfect for walking and public transport. We kept heading towards Hilborn for our dining but found a few days before departure a lot more to discover to the right when you leave the building. Cutest coffee company next to the building. If you don't feel like going out order in from Deliveroo. Enjoyed KimChee, Hiba, Wagamama, Scarfes, Wahaca, Spaghetti House, The Queens Head, Thiwayna Thai, Bea's, The Food Shop, Harrods, Fortnum and Mason, Lady Ottoline and Silver Cross. Of course a few more pubs in that mix. Bottle Dog is around the corner if you are a hop head. (Every beer available). Perfect time of the year to see London, spring coming alive in all of the parks and gardens. I would stay in this flat again, I felt at home. Thank you for making this flat available for VRBO.
