Located right on the waterfront overlooking Falmouth Harbour, Nightingale House provides you with an unrivalled location from which to enjoy your Cornish holiday.

You’ll be able to enjoy the sight of the many boats and yachts going to and fro from the comfortable indoor and outdoor seating areas in the property. And in the unlikely event that you want to leave this luxurious home, you’ll find the best Falmouth has to offer is right on your doorstep.

Inside you will find four double bedrooms, two with king sized beds and two with doubles. They are all furnished to a high standard, each featuring an iPod dock and the master bedroom, bedroom two, and bedroom three all come with a flatscreen television with Freeview. Each room is characterful and delightfully designed to make the most of the space and provide a true haven to retreat to after a tiring day out and about.

The master bedroom and the second bedroom on the second floor both feature en-suite bathrooms and share the amazing view across the harbour and out to sea, while bedrooms three and four on the ground floor share a generous family bathroom.

The newly-fitted kitchen provides everything you need to cater to many hungry mouths. With plenty of fresh Cornish produce available in Falmouth, it’s worth spending a couple of nights in so that you can use the range cooker to whip up some flavoursome dishes using tasty local fare. The kitchen itself has a breakfast bar and a flatscreen television – perfect if you want to cook and keep an eye on the kids at the same time. A separate utility room holds a washer and dryer.

Once you have your meals prepared, you can either eat outside on the huge waterfront balcony and terraced seating area, or the spacious dining room, complete with antique oak table. Both offer stunning views out across the water.

You’ll love relaxing both indoors and outdoors at this property. The living area is spacious and comfortable, with plenty of seating and a large television – perfect for winding down in the evenings. The balcony affords great views across the harbour, so you can watch the fishermen and ferries at work, or gaze dreamily out across the gently folding waters.

Nightingale House also enjoys the use of a spacious rear garden (shared with Nightingale Mews) which has a large area of lawn and additional outside seating. It also has off-road parking for 1 car and a large garage.

Notes:
Guests are advised that the garage at the house is accessed via an archway onto the quayside that is 2.2 metres (7 ft 3 ins) wide at mirror height and 2.05 metres (6 ft 9 ins) wide at tyre height. Access through the arch is made more difficult by scaffolding erected around a property undergoing renovation opposite the arch until mid-July 2017. While experienced drivers have negotiated large vehicles through the arch, less confident drivers may find this to be a challenge, in which case a 7 day ticket for the nearby Dell public car park can be purchased for £41.30.
