Wonderful stay. Adult group of 8. Private setting, private rooms with balconies and private bathrooms. Luxurious. Close to Castellemare de Golfo and Zingaro. It would be good to add a small supply of dish detergent and trash bags.
We were an adult family of 8, staying in this beautiful home for 4 days. The living quarters are beautiful and perfect for a large group (we were all adults). The home is very private but not too far from Castellemare de golfo, and Zingarro. Each room is elegant, and posh and some with balconies. Beautiful views. There is opportunity to walk the roads by the vineyards surrounding the property. Well stocked kitchen. Only comment for improvement is to include more trash bags and dish detergent to help us keep the facility clean.
Castellammare is famous for its excellent cultural and environmental heritage. It is composed of a beautiful coastline with some two mountains called Inici and Spàragio, partially covered by a natural landscape and about 1.620 hectares of the Natural Reserve of Zingaro. It is one of the most spectacular villages of Sicily, and Scolpello is maybe the most evocative place of the entire Gulf of Castellammare. It is a small village built in the late 18th century near an old Arabic farmhouse. In a wonderful creek protected by some old towers there is the tuna-fishing nets of Erice, historic village of 28.880 citizens in the province of Trapani on the Mount Erice, name of the old mythological character killed by Hercules. Up to the end of the 2nd world war it was named San Giuliano Mountain. San Vito Lo Capo, an old town of sailors and farmers, is now famous for one of the most important holiday resorts of Sicily, for the beauty of its coastline and the clearness of its water. Pantelleria is a town of 7600 citizens in the province of Trapani.
The village covers the entire isle of Pantelleria. It is located 85 km from Sicily and 70 km from Africa. Its territory is volcanic and there are still some phenomenons of volcanism with hot waters and smoke. The latest eruption occurred in 1891 on the northwestern slope, in the submerged part.
