Renovated 1 Bed Apartment Situated in the Most Desirable Area of the City

Spacious 1 bedroom apartment on the 1st floor with a new lift system. The dining room can be used as a second bedroom. Situated in a period building which has benefited from a complete refurbishment in 2012 by a local architect, retaining the original features. It has high ceilings and wooden beams. The antique Spanish tiled floor in the living room has been recently been restored.

The apartment comprises of separate dining, living room and kitchen with a washing machine,fridge freezer and microwave,with towels and a hair dryer provided.

There is also a terrace area on the roof has outside dining and sun bathing facilities.

The apartment has been redecorated and detailed to a high specification in March 2015

- New 42 inch Ultra HD Smart TV, high speed WiFi connection meaning you can watch TV, movies or sport in your native language.

- There is a new 'Picolin' Visco elastin ventilated double bed in the bedroom, a sofa bed in the large front living room and two foldaway beds for children situated in the reception room. It sleeps 5/6 comfortably.

- A new Fujitsu split air conditioning system has been installed for the warm summer months.

- For your convenience there is a separate water filtration system meaning you do not need to purchase bottled water.

- A 'Rain style' shower system has also been installed.

- New corner sofa purchased 2017, which extends and can be used a bed.

It is ideally situated in the most sought after area of town - 5 minutes from Postiguet Beach within the Old Town and only a few steps to La Rambla.

Amazing apartment fantastic location

Arrived a bit late no proplem with key or contact apartment immaculate everything you needed lounge area beautiful with big windows two small balconies were you could sit and watch the world go buy, and also chat with the neighbors opposite!!! Nice and quiet as bedroom at the back but even so for the middle of August even at the front it was quiet beautiful church square with lovely restaurants and bars literally on you door step beach 5 minutes away what's not to like hoping to book for October and hopefully New Year also Carmen who lives up stairs if you need anything was lovely but as everything was perfect we didn't need to trouble her .

Wonderful location for restaurants, bars and public transport. Supermarket is 5 mins away.

Very nice apartment in very good location!

The apartment was really comfortable, it had plenty of room for five people. Owner and his agent were very helpful. The apartment wasn't very steady, but it had everything we needed. Wifi wasn't quick, but it worked. The location was excellent! Rambla and KFC ( :) ) just couple of steps from the door. Playa de Postiquet in 5 minutes walk.

The view isn't more than the house next to. We didn't mind the view, because we wanted to watch the view outdoors, not from the window!

We would recommend the property and would come other time too!

Lovely spacious apartment. Great location.

This is a lovely spacious apartment. It has a large spacious sitting room with a small balcony where you can sit and watch the world go by. There is a couch which can be turned into a bed. The kitchen has everything you need - the washing machine is great as I had travelleled with hand luggage. There is a seperate dining/sleeping area which can be used as a sleeping area as there are pull out beds here. The main bedroom is at the back. Even though the apartment is in the town centre -the apartment is quiet and I never heard any street noise. The bathroom has a good shower. The apartment has everything you need for a holiday in Alicante. The location is excellent-as you are in the town. When you come out of the apartment -turn left into an area that has lovely restaurants. These restaurants were top class with something to suit every one' s budget. There is also the church square area that has a great buzz at night time. The cocktails here were 3- 5 Euro which my daughter especially enjoyed. You are only 5 mins. to a beautiful beach. It is in the town so it is very convenient for shopping. There is El Cortes Ingles ,Zara,Mango & Stradivarius. There are great shoe shops and privately owned shops to shop in.

Alicante during Holy Week!

I went to Alicante to visit my daughter who is studying abroad at the University there. I wanted to stay somewhere unique, and with the feel of a Spanish home. John's apartment was all that and more! The location and El Barrio is perfect. Close to shops, restaurants, cafés and just a couple blocks from the beach and the Explanada! And holy week was in full swing so processions many times would go right under the balcony. Absolutely amazing! The apartment was very comfortable with all the amenities you could want. I would stay in this apartment again in a heartbeat. Thank you John for your hospitality!

We enjoyed the roof terasse in February, which was great. The apartment was great and well equipped but a litte cold and dark at that of the year.
