Very nice place, family loved it.
Traveled here in July. Group consisted of 4 adults and 2 kids (7 & 5). The apartment had more than enough space for all of us. Bedrooms are a nice size (2 x twin & 1 double with ensuite) and have great wardrobe space.
Living area is large with loads of seating. Balcony is great with table and lounge seating as well. the balcony over looks the pool and bar area but the place is very quiet during the day and evening if you are worried about noise. the Kitchen isnt big but has everything you need and opens onto the balcony so very handy at breakfast time or lunch if you want to sit out.
The complex isnt that big and is very secure with gated access and guards patrolling. with 2 young kids we found this very comforting.
Everything is nice and clean both inside the apartment and outside. The pool area was very clean as was the pool wc's.
The pool bar/restaurant was great. the food isn't Michelin star but more than good for a pool bar. The staff are very attentive and helpful.
If you have very young kids and you like to move around i would suggest you hire a car as you are some way out of town. you are close to a brilliant beach BUT it is all uphill on way back.
The owner, David, was extremely helpful during the booking process and afterwards with any queries we had.
We have been going to Lagos for about 8 years now (i really should buy a place!) and i would definitely go back here next year if we are traveling as a smaller group again (we sometimes have more family with us).
The booking process was really easy & the owner was only to happy to help with questions. They provided a great Welcome Pack & Directions info pack before we arrived at the apartment. The apartment is really spacious & very tastefully decorated - it really does feel like a home. The bedrooms & bathrooms are spacious. The balcony overlooking the pool & the stunning gardens is to die for. The pool is large & our kids loved it. There is a great pool bar & restaurant, Destinos which offers a very well priced range of snacks/ light meals at lunch time & a nice selection of dinner options in the pm - we ate there three times during out stay - never disappointed. We've been coming to Lagos for a few years now & this is by far the best place we have stayed in. Lagos offers many great restaurants and many cafes to watch the boats sail in & out of the Marina. Its not often I write reviews but this place is a heaven & we will be back again in 2018
Lagos and the surrounding area offers a real diversity of things to do and places to visit for all ages. There are lots of activities for the kids to enjoy from swimming to more thrill based activities such as surfing, paragliding, canoeing and banana boats to name a few. There are 2 water parks nearby which are great for a family day out plus Zoo Marine near faro. There are plenty of family day trips which leave the Marina on a daily basis including dolphin watching, fishing, trips to the grottos to name but a few. If the 'kids' are a bit older there is a buzzing nightlife scene in the town with bars and clubs. The beaches in the area are stunning and to numerous to mention, the nearest one being a 15 minute walk away or a few minutes in the car. The town centre offers lots to see and do with numerous great restaurants and plenty of bars. The town centre is lively in the evening with lots of street acts and side shows in the main square. The Monchique mountains are nearby and offer somewhere cooler to go in the Summer and some stunning views at the top. If this all sounds to much and all you want to do is 'chill out' by the pool its easy to do nothing and relax by the pool surrounded by the stunning gardens
