About Sue Wilde-Greer
The owners, Sue & Ean, bought the house as an abandoned wreck in 2014, with the aim of moving here as soon as practically possible. It took 4 years! to finish the project but the results are so so worth it. The 'plan' was always to holiday-let the first floor (we live in a loft style apartment upstairs), to give our guests a taste of what it's like to live in the 'real' Spain.

Why Sue Wilde-Greer chose Pedreguer
Apart from the extensive damage as a result of being abandoned for years, nothing in the house had changed since it was built in 1920, so we had a wealth of original features to rescue/restore, including the amazing antique floors. It also happened to be in Pedreguer - a very lively, small market town with a big heart. It couldn't be more different from the usual cosmopolitan tourist resorts set right on the coast, but benefits from being between the mountains - literally on our doorstep, and the beautiful beaches of the northern Costa Blanca just 7km away.
