About Wendy Knight
I’m a marketing executive who loves to cook, read novels, collect old chairs, paddle in the summer, and cross-country ski in the winter. My husband is a builder. We are outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy boating, paddling, and camping.
Wendy Knight purchased this House in 2009
Why Wendy Knight chose Panton
Our property is very private and peaceful. The perennial gardens, apple trees and deck create a lovely courtyard in the back.
What makes this House unique
Our home offers guests a quiet rural retreat while being accessible to towns that offer shopping, dining and other activities. Within an hour’s drive there are plenty of outdoor recreation activities, museums and galleries, farms stands and orchards, and of course Vermont’s world-renowned breweries, cideries, wineries and distilleries.

The Lake Champlain Maratime Musuem and the Rokey Museum are within a 15 minute drive. Lake Champlain provides plenty of water-based activities including fishing, swimming, paddling, and boating. Button Bay State Park and DAR State Park are less than 10 minutes away. There are a couple of good hiking spots nearby: Snake Mountain and Mt. Philo State Park. The quiet country roads around the area are perfect for road biking.
