The 94m2 apartment with two bedrooms, which is part of the exclusive development Higueron an enclave between the mountains and the beach. This small luxury development has a Gimansio and Club Deportivo, also a Beauty Center and Spa that offers rates for individual days. All these services to 100 meters away

Leaving the complex in meaning to the mountain, there are a number of shops and restaurants, pharmacy, supermarket and petrol station (500 meters / 0.3 mi from the apartment).

In regard to the sea, the beach and the train station nearby (800 meters / 0.5 mi).

The complex provides a free shuttle little train to access these two points (shops and beach)

Lovely apartment

Arrived at a lovely, clean, spacious apartment. Everything we needed was in it. Apartment is up a steep hill but we walked it most days and it did get easier! Free train is handy to use during the day to go up and down to beach if required. Large supermarket and restaurants/cafes up hill too which is walkable. I would recommend this apartment and would use it again. Ana the owner is lovely too and just a text away if needed.

A spacious apartment with good views

The apartment is clean, light and airy. It is located on the road, which runs through the complex that stretches between the mountains and sea. The road is however very steep and would not be easy to walk up and down. As mentioned in other reviews, there is a train that you can catch to the shops and the beach but this does stop in the early evening. Therefore, I would recommend anyone booking this apartment to hire a car. The apartment comes with underground parking which is very secure and useful, but there is also parking spaces outside in the road.

The pool area is lovely! There are both shaded areas and places to sunbathe. The pool is huge, but isn't heated, however, this didn't stop my kids enjoying themselves in it. There are also lovely views of the mountains from here and it's also very secure. The apartment is situated on the outskirts of Benalmadena, so unfortunately there is not much to do on site, although there is a Hilton hotel.

The apartment itself was nice and had all the basic equipment that you need for a holiday, I did however miss having a kettle. It would also have been nice to have a dvd player as the telly only has one English film channel and many of these films were not suitable for children. Wifi would also have been very useful.

There is lots to do in the area. We visited the Bioparc in Fuengirola, which was a good day out. We spent most of our week in Benalmadena. The marina area is lovely, with lots of souvenirs to buy and is a good area for restaurants and boat trips. There is a sea life centre, with sharks, turtles and other marine life. As this is mostly inside its a good place to go on a rainy/ chillier day. There is also a dolphinarium, but unfortunately we ran out of time and couldn't visit it. There is also a theme park in Benalmadena called 'Tivoli world' In my opinion, this place is not good value for money. You get charged 8 Euros each just to enter the park, without the rides.Family wristbands then cost 50 Euros and you still have to pay extra for some of the rides such as the go carts and the haunted house. I think that this park is suitable for younger children as teenagers may get bored.

We had a great stay in Benalmadena, I would happily recommend this apartment to my family and friends and hope to return again one day soon!

nice apartment but big hill if out after 6pm.

we arrived to.clean apartment .suprised No DVD player so couldn't watch any films and TV was limited with English channels so had 1 film channel whole time was there .which we watch most evenings. As nothing to do . due to train to get you up hill stops at 6 ish. trust me you need that train. we walked 3 times and it's a killer

apartment had NO kettle which was strange as everyone likes tea or coffee so had to boil saucepan everytime wanted Cup tes/coffee.

washing machine broke 3 days before left so had to go buy clothes as we run out. owner father did help but it couldn't be fixed ..

The apartment it's self is on lovely complex. train.to take you. up.and down hill. .lovely pool beautiful views. we paid to.use the hilton swimming pool as stayed December was too cold to use outdoor one.

the outside by pool.is well looked after gardens bet lovely in.summer

supermarket up top of hill with few cafes chemist and WiFi up there .

train to bottom got local train station very handy and very cheap.

the beach is lovely and clean we spent few days there kids really enjoyed that .

we did have road works and building works going on.so was up by 8am most mornings.

But we had lovely stay and Lady that owes it very helpful. was only a text message away.

The only fault more information would be good.

ie : were markets shopping mails complex etc our .what buses to.get cost of buses train.times etc as we had to wait 45 mins as buses only run on the hour winter months

places to visit . we only found out of other local people. I did leave list for other people that stay there.

But all in all We had a lovely Winter Christmas in Spain and this apartment was lovely to get away lovely warm 19c hottest not bad for December.

Owner's Response: Thanks, Ill have in mind to provide keetle and dvd About transfers, the urbanization (like most of costa del sol) its between sea and little hill. Even when its in front and less than 1 Km to the beach, I always advice go by urbanization train free service. It take you and bring you back to the sand in the beach, to the door at train station (subway) and to the door at the carrefour supermarket; but it workes until sunset; 6:00 pm in winter. My really advice is rent a car if people want to visit many places because Malaga, Fuengirola, Benalmadena are differents cities so close but the bus service its not as frecuent as intra city. About information I really dont understand what you mean since there is special website of the flat (train station, times, places to visit) made by me http://costadelsolaccommodation.com Otherwise a carpet inside with fisical turism info and maps, etc.

Genial pura tranquilidad fuera del bullicio del mes de agosto.estas a 1km de la playa bien conectado.por coche o el trenecito de la urbanizacion.tiene salida directa a la ap7.para conectarte rapidamente con cualquier sitio.lo mejor su terraza para poder disfrutar de la brisa que corre..para terminar su propietaria Ana.un encanto de persona..con buena comunicacion en todo momento para aclarar y ayudar contratiempos..muchas gracias..una estancia para recordar..
