We live in a quiet, safe and friendly neighbourhood of West-London (Chiswick). It is one of the most relaxed and family-friendly neighbourhoods of London where more and more Londoners decide to live as it is very green and has a feeling of countryside while still minutes away from the tourist centre of London.
The house is a 2' walk from Chiswick Park tube station (District line) and 10' walk from Turnham Green tube station (Piccadilly line). You can therefore easily access Central London (30' from Piccadilly Circus) as well as countryside destinations like Richmond Park (20' away) and Kew Gardens (10' away).
You have nice public parks around the corner, among which Acton Green Common and Ravenscourt Park with kids playgrounds and public tennis courts, as well as a paddling pool in the summer.
You have nice local coffee shops and restaurants as well as all the supermarket chains around the corner on Chiswick High Road or Turnham Green Terrace. You also have two of the finest restaurants in London but without the formality or the price tag you might expect (Le Vacherin and La Trompette).
You are a few bus stops from Westfield Shopping Centre, a very big indoor mall with cinemas, high street brands and luxury shops.
The house is on a road where you find easy parking. You have a fantastic view from the windows, overseeing the neighbours lovely gardens full of big trees.
We have been living in our house since September 2016 after full refurbishment works and enjoy our new neighbourhood and house every day. The house is bright and full of light, cosy and charming.
