Chalet d' Olivier is an attractively renovated demi-chalet situated in a group of 4 chalets in the exclusive area of Plaine des Praz in Chamonix.
The chalet is entered via a hallway with a storage cupboard and separate WC. The ground floor comprises a double bedroom with fitted wardrobes, there are two further flexible bedrooms to the rear of the property (can be made up as a double or twin) with wardrobes and doors that open on to the deck and garden. This floor also has a family bathroom and a separate shower room.
Stairs lead to the lower ground floor with the master bedroom with ensuite washroom and ensuite shower room/ sauna. This floor also houses the utility/technical room which has two walls of storage cupboards and provides an alternative access to the sauna.
The whole top floor is entirely given over to the living space and is an exceptionally bright area with windows on three sides. The area has been divided to provide clear spaces for living, dining and cooking. The kitchen is of a high standard and has been fully integrated with an American fridge/freezer and a coffee machine. The dining area seats 8 comfortably whilst the living area has a wood burning stove and enjoys access to a balcony. A second door leads to a large dining terrace with fabulous uninterrupted views of Mont Blanc.
There is a washing machine for guests use, a garage and space for a car on the driveway.
Chalet d'Olivier's quiet location, spacious outside areas and light modern finish, offers comfortable living throughout the year for groups of all ages.
Skiing and snowboarding: Chamonix is one of the world's most famous ski areas, having hosted the first Winter Olympics in 1924. Skiers and snowboarders of all levels are well-served in a variety of differing areas around Chamonix, including Brevent, Flegere, the famous Grands Montets and Domaine du Balme. The Mont Blanc pass also covers nearby areas including Les Houches, St Gervais, Megeve, Courmayeur and Les Contamines, all within an easy drive. Slightly further afield, but within an hour's drive are Verbier, La Thuile, Flaine and Les Carroz. Despite its reputation as an area for experts only, there are plenty of green, blue and red runs to satisfy beginners and intermediates alike. For the more experienced, Chamonix has miles and miles of adventurous off-piste, including the famous Vallee Blanche, an 18 km experience from the Aiguille du Midi down to the town.
Summer and the rest of the year: With the draw of Europe's premier natural attraction, Mont Blanc, Chamonix never sleeps. Whether it's simply to soak up the stunning scenery or get the adrenaline pumping, there is plenty for everybody to do all year round. There are a wide variety of marked trails for hiking and trekking; well-maintained bolted routes for rock-climbing; limitless mountaineering opportunities including Mont Blanc itself; an ever-expanding network of mountain bike trails; some of the most consistent thermals for superb paragliding; raging white water rapids for rafting and hydro speeding; canyoning and abseiling down the spectacular valley gorges; golf at the Trent Jones Sr designed 18 hole course in Chamonix, as well as many other top quality courses nearby; the sports centre has an indoor and outdoor 50 m swimming pool and a large grassed sunbathing area, water slides, numerous tennis courts, gym, spa, jacuzzi, the list goes on.

Our office is in central Chamonix, so we are on hand to advise you throughout your stay and organise any little extras that you need. We have also invested a great deal in our bookings system, giving you real time availability, online booking and, uniquely, the ability to manage your booking online through to the point of arrival.
Services: Our team will be able to organise anything you need, before, during and even after your stay. Whether it be pre-ordering ski passes, discounted equipment hire, ski lessons, mountain guiding, private chefs, masseuses, bike hire - you name it, we can organise it!
In Resort we can help to pre-arrange all your in resort requirements e.g. ski-passes (delivered to your property), ski equipment, ski guiding or lessons, any summer or winter activity. We can also arrange food hampers, welcome packs, breakfast and bespoke meals. This is a free service which is aimed to help you start enjoying your holiday from the moment you arrive. We meet you at the property and are on hand throughout you visit. An optional daily cleaning service is available, price on request. Cots and high chairs are available separately to hire.
