Great Location

  • 5 of 5

This property was perfect for two sisters traveling alone. The apartment was cute, cozy, and equipped with everything. The fridge was stocked with the essentials needed to start our trip. The location was ideal for walking around the city and we never felt unsafe. There was great communication with the owner and being picked up at the airport was a bonus. I would recommend this property to a friend and if I ever returned I would would feel at home in this apartment. Thanks a bunch

Dublin stay

  • 5 of 5

Our stay in Dublin began with Tom picking us up at the airport. He was there to meet us and told us about the city as he drove to the flat. This was a brilliant start to the holiday. He then showed us the property as well as how to get around.

The property is centrally located and you can walk to almost everything from here.

When we left I inadvertently left something behind which Tom found and posted to me. Could not ask for better service!

This flat was perfect - central and safe for two woman travelling! It truly became our home away from home. It was clean and tidy. Wifi was great! It was walking distance to every where.... Guiness, Jameson, Temple Bar, Dublin Castle, St. Patrick's, Christ Church, Trinity College etc. Tom and his wife are wonderful! Having Tom pick us up at the airport was such a treat - there was no hassle with finding a taxi. He took us straight to the flat and got us orientated very quickly. They were also kind to leave goodies in the fridge which was so nice after many hours of travel. If visiting Dublin again I would look no further and return to this flat! I miss it already :) Thank you!!!!!!

Small, but lovely!

  • 5 of 5

This apartment was perfect for us (2 couples from U.S. visiting Dublin for first time). It was tiny, but we were only in the apartment to sleep, so that was not an issue for us. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. Plus, the owner Tom and his wife are gems! So kind and helpful.

We loved that it was on the ground floor, so no stair climbing, and we walked each morning to get coffee, see sites, and eat/drink down at the Brazen Head pub (fills up quickly, so get there early!) We walked the entire city from this apartment and only got a rental car when we ventured out of the city.

The only thing I needed that I couldn't find was a fan (it gets warm under the thick, cozy duvet at night).

I definitely recommend. A great value. Fun was had by all. I miss it.

Owner's Response: Many thanks for your kind words. The word tiny may be misleading as Lounge is large and bedrooms are as per photos.Kitchen may be small but still has all that is necessary.Across the street staycity.com have larger apartments at double or treble the price

An excellent central location, near restaurants and pubs, shops and historical buildings. Close enough to walk all through Dublin yet not troubled by the hurly burly of street life. But that is only the location. The apartment is compact but with ample room for the three of us, with a warm family feel like being in your own living room at home. The best part though was the generosity and friendliness of the hosts. We were met and dropped off at the airport. The house was clean and tidy when we arrived, our fridge was full and we were contacted at all points from the six months prior to our stay advising us of where and how to meet. The best to last we were regaled by Tom of stories and anecdotes of Dublin, his fair city. A grand stay.

Perfect family retreat

  • 5 of 5

We rented this apartment for 10 days when we were in Dublin to visit our daughter, a student at Trinity. There was plenty of room for 4 adults, and it was great to have the living space and kitchen since we were there for an extended stay. We even had what we needed to prepare a traditional American Thanksgiving meal in our little kitchen! We made one overnight trip to the west coast, but kept busy exploring Dublin the rest of our visit. The apartment is convenient to bus and train stops, and we walked to pubs, restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, sightseeing, etc. The location is ideal. The owner was quick to respond to my initial inquiry about the apartment, promptly confirmed our dates, and stayed in touch; he was most accommodating in arranging our arrival (including a stocked refrigerator) and departure. We definitely recommend this apartment for your stay.
