Why Mrs Daniela Evans chose Cowbridge
Fabulous property in the heart of the Vale of Glamorgan where you can be as busy as you would like or relax by the pond reading a book, while the BBQ is lighting... We are not far from Cardiff bay, where there are so many activities and walks of interest too. Special announcement : We have just refurbished the both bathroom en-suits and they look fantastic so I hope you will enjoy your bathing time...
What makes this Chateau / Country House unique
The Views are amazing, and very peaceful over looking the deer park, and you can also if preferred, pop to the local shop or go on a spending spree just 5 minutes away, or even visit the many beaches surrounding us. if you prefer you can go on amazing walks so you don't always need to drive either...
A very welcoming property and owners. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Deer Park Lodge with amazing views, good outside space and comfortable and well appointed inside space. Excellent location from which to explore and enjoy the beauty of the Welsh countryside and coastline. What's not to like?
Thank you so much for making the time to write your kind review !
So happy you enjoyed your stay with us and we look forward to seeing you again on your next trip.
Great place, close to all sorts of activities!
Great house for our fortnight holiday. Lovely views of the deer herd towards the south. The house is on the A48 and surrounded by sheep so not the quietest of places we've ever stayed! Very comfortable beds with both bedrooms en-suite although only one has a shower (the other has a bath). Dishwasher and washing machine/tumble dryer good. Used the wi-fi from the adjoining main house with no problems. The good thing about being on the A48 is that it's easy to get north, south, east and west very easily which made it a good base for a varied touristy holiday with random weather (well, what do you expect in Wales?!). Local/nearest pub, which is easily walkable in a few minutes, highly recommended for food and drink.
Fabulous places to see, Lots to do, and also relaxing time to be had if needed. It is an easy area to find but we do not recommend that you use a sat nav as it will take you behind us to the horse riding school. DO NOT LEAVE THE A48...Also, you must visit Cardiff bay for an amazing time out with your loved one or families alike, there are also an array of castles where you can explore or take a picnic for a relaxing time, there are lots of animal farms, golf, shopping, adventure play areas, theme parks etc...
