5 Bedroomed Country Lodge With River Views

Glenbogle Lodge is a self catering accommodation located 2 miles outside of Banchory and overlooks the River Dee and the Middle Blackhall fishing beat of the river (which can also be let at an extra fee subject to availability). The timber lodge was brought over from Scandinavia and reconstructed on the banks of the Dee and is beautifully furnished, recreating a typical Scandinavian sporting lodge.

Glenbogle Lodge is set on the edge of Blackhall Forest and is outstandingly attractive, secluded yet easily accessible, being only half an hour's drive from Aberdeen Airport. The riverbanks are abound with wild flowers in early summer. Cowslips, wild geraniums and lupins are among countless species which add colour to the magnificent scenery.

The accommodation is ideal for up to six people. (A maximum of eight people upon prior agreement) The ground floor consists of a sitting room, dining room, kitchen and a rod room. Three double bedrooms, a twin room, two single bedrooms and two bathrooms are on the first floor.

Glenbogle is let as a self-catering lodge but it is possible to obtain the services of a local cook who could cater for you. Tenants will be responsible for their own food and drink.
