ASK ABOUT FALL AND SPRING DISCOUNTS!!
This cozy cottage is situated twenty feet from the shoreline of quiet Dyer Long Pond in Jefferson, ME. Closed in the winter, this quiet retreat offers a rustic pine interior with all the amenities needed to enjoy your Maine vacation. Near the lower half of the lake, the cottage is nestled in dense pine and oak trees. The lake is quiet with very little power boating and is more geared towards canoeing and kayaking. It is a nature lovers spot with good chances of siting ospreys, bald eagles, beavers, turtles, loons, and many other bird species. Cottage is 15-min from the Mid-coast of Maine. Explore Damariscotta and the Penobscot bay areas for antiquing and outdoor pursuits. Close to area lighthouses and maritime museums, Pemaquid point one of the most photographed lighthouses in Maine is 27 miles. We were just highlighted as a kayaking destination in Maine's Sunday Telegram.

Come stay in the fall and use my camp for your base for leaf viewing in the fall. The fall is an awesome time to visit Dyerlong Cottage because the crowds are gone, traffic is better, the stove is cozy, and theres nothing better then kayaking on the glass lake w/orange and red leaves reflecting off the water. Fall can be spectacular. Read my reviews, ask me for more pictures, you wont be let down, I've never received anything but positive feedback from my renters...except maybe about the bugs! but that's all of Maine.
