Nice area and good accommodation

We enjoyed our stay at Alisson's house in Epernay. It was booked very last minute but she still managed to make the house look warm and comfortable for us and managed our late check-in very well. There was milk in fridge, croissants, coffee tea etc. The bedrooms and living areas were all neat and we had parking spaces for our two cars too. The only downside is that the house does not come with a bathroom upstairs and the stairs creak a lot when coming down so when someone walked down to use the toilet, all the others woke up : ) But this was not bad when its only for one or two nights.. Thank you Alisson !

Abgewohnt aber für den Zweck brauchbar

Das schmale Reihenhaus und das bunt zusammengestellte Mobiliar sind in die Jahre gekommen, Rauchmelder liegen in der Schublade, zT keine funktionierende bzw keine ausreichende Beleuchtung, defekte Türdrücker etc pp. Die Dunstabzugshaube haben wir uns nicht getraut anzufassen, aus hygienischen Gründen wie auch aus Sorge, ob die hält. Der Mini-Außenbereich zur Ostseite ist ungepflegt mit Zigatettenkippen usw. Die schmale Treppe ohne Geländer zum Wohngeschoss samt Bad und Toilette ist aus Beton, die zum Obergeschoss mit den Schlafzimmern ist aus Holz und knarrt elendig. Die alten Reihenhäuser sind so hellhörig, dass man nicht nur den Nachbarn beim Telefonieren verstehen kann, sondern sogar seinen Gesprächspartner. Der Wohnzimmerteil hat keine Aufenthaltsqualität, da das "Sofa" eine Art Pritsche / Notbett ist. Dennoch sind die genutzten Betten im Obergeschosd bequem, und in der Küche ist das Notwendigste vorhanden. Ins Zentrum geht man ca. 20 Minute zu Fuß.Als Absteige für Kurzaufenthalt geeignet, wenn man keine Ansprüche stellt, aber dafür zu teuer.
