Drive to the door of this single-level property situated amongst the pools, palms and exotic plants of the beautiful sought after complex, Oasis de Capistrano area of Nerja.

Recently modernised, whilst retaining its Spanish charm, the apartment has two bedrooms both of which benefit from ceiling fans, one with a double bed and en-suite shower room, the other with two single beds. Both rooms open onto a private sun terrace that catches the sun till early evening. There is a second bathroom, recently refurbished with a deluxe walk in multi jet shower.

The modern kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and washing machine plus plenty of stotrage space and utensils.

The lounge, with double doors opening onto the terrace, has a three seat sofa that is convertible to a double bed as well as a second sofa. There is a flat screen cable TV, CD player and ceiling fan. A safe is also available. The dining area has a table and chairs and the open fire gives a cosy atmosphere in winter. The apartment benefits from WiFi.

The south-facing terrace, overlooking the Oasis gardens and Mediterranean Sea, provides an all-day sun-trap with Spanish style BBQ, sun loungers, table and plenty of chairs, along with a covered shaded area for al fresco living. In the summer this benefits form a ceiling fan to help keep cool

The Surrounding Area: The house and town are surrounded by market gardens quickly rising to a back- drop of spectacular mountains. The sea and local beach are only 500 meters away. The area is punctuated with the white-washed houses of the Andalusian villages - nearby Frigiliana is a fine example. Walkers are particularly drawn to the area. Nearby (within walking distance) are the spectacular Nerja caves (actually at Maro). They are open every day but there is an auditorium where annual dance and music festivals are held. The blue lagoon of Lake Vinuela is worth a visit. There are golf courses, the nearest being Baviera (15 minutes away). Further afield is Granada with the spectacular Alhambra Palace. Close to Granada are the Sierra Nevada mountains, which accommodate Europe's most southerly ski resort (Solynieve). For the more ambitious, day trips to Gibraltar and Morocco are possible.

Oasis De Capistrano is a beautiful complex with magnificent gardens and boasting two swimming pools. 36 Calle Tetuan with its fantastic sun terrace and modern amenities (including WiFi) and has panoramic views over the grounds to the Mediterranean sea beyond. The property has been in our family for over 20 years, we love it and the town of Nerja and spend many happy holidays there.

What makes this apartment unique

The private sun terrace gets the sun from early morning to sunset, whist the roof canopy provides shelter from the sun for those who so desire!

Simply the Best!

Situated in the prestigious up market Oasis Capistrano area this apartment is quite unique for its easy access and uninterrupted stunning sea views. Inside its light and airy yet retained the original features giving a rustic Spanish feel to this exclusive property. Beautiful pool area with honesty box for sun beds, five minutes by car to beach and town. Peaceful, relaxing, lovely really a lovely place to stay.

This property came up to all our expectations particularly the access which is only a few steps away from where you park. The facilities were excellent and the furnishings were very comfortable as were the beds. The property was well maintained and clean and the outside terrace allowed us to eat and relax in the lovely weather that we encountered during our stay. We would certainly recommend this property to others and we shall be looking to book again in 2016.

Spring Holiday in Nerja, Spain

The Capistrano Oasis lies on the outskirts of the town of Nerja, and is a very attractive development. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of down town, and still near enough to be reached in a few minutes. This apartment has very easy access, you can park on the street and walk straight in. The apartment has everything you might need. Dish washer, washing machine, micro wave oven in the kitchen area. Two showers and two bedrooms make it quite comfortable. The Balcony is roomy and has sun most of the day, and a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Ocean. And a barbecue is available in the outdoor area. Supermarkets are within walking distance. The apartment is clean and well maintained, and we enjoyed our stay here very much.

The apartment has everything you might need. Ideal for anyone with mobility problems. Nice kitchen and shower. Comfortable beds. Has the advantage of sun all day. Supermarkets within walking distance. Helpful owner. We thoroughly enjoyed our month stay here.

GREAT ANDALUCIAN STYLE VILLA WITH CHARM

This villa has all the facilities you need for up to 6, travelling as a family or a group or friends. (Done both). The living space is open plan including kitchen/dining area, and a lounge with sofa bed available. From the lounge is access to a private sunny terrace with wonderful views overlooking the gardens and beyond this, to the sea. Both bedrooms lead to the terrace and there are 2 bathrooms (added bonus). There are 2 very clean communal pools (one with lifeguard) with sunbeds available (honesty box) and shade if required.

Nerja town is walkable around 20-25 minutes or an easy drive or Taxi. Taxi point 100 metres from the door. The town itself is unspoilt with plenty of fine restaurants, cafes/bars and shops with a great viewpoint/photo opportunity from Balcon de Europe. We used the Burriana beach which offers sunbeds to hire (4 euros) with plenty of facilities. There are places to visit around the area if you feel the need with good transport links. I am going back this year which will be my sixth time.....That says it all really!

Fantastic - a perfect family holiday location

This was my 4th visit to this fantastic apartment and I'm booked to go again next year! Having previously stayed in May with friends we'd always had a wonderful time - perfect location, spotless apartment, literally parking outside the door, wonderful beaches, fabulous restaurants and all in the picturesque Spanish town of Nerja, but to come with family was even better. The apartment is perfect with two great bedrooms and two bathrooms, a very well equipped kitchen and a huge (safe) balcony with amazing views across to the sea. We spent hours at the nearby beach (we did drive down with all our beach kit, but parking was free even in July/August), enjoyed the pools in the early evening, visited the incredible Nerja caves, enjoyed the restaurants and ate in - there's a brand new supermarket a few minutes away. The nightlife is perfect for families, there's always something to see on the Balcon, loads of restaurants to choose from and the town or Nerja feels very safe. All in all, a fantastic apartment in a perfect location and not a McDonald's to be seen - what's not to like?

The villa is situated on a quiet development on the eastern outskirts of Nerja. This lovely town retains much of it's traditional Spanish charm with narrow streets, markets and a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Mixed with this are a wide choice of shops and restaurants to suit all tastes. There are several beaches, the biggest being Burriana with excellent paella and fish restaurants and a range of activities including swimming, sailing, windsurfing, scuba-diving, snorkelling, paragliding and fishing. The focal point of the old town is the famous Balcon de Europa, a popular meeting point and a place to enjoy the work of local artists and street performers. Nerja's Tuesday market is very popular with visitors and locals alike. The holiday can be whatever you want it to be - full of activities, a base for regional tourism or simply a chance to unwind and relax in beautiful surroundings.
