A brilliant last minute choice

  • 5 of 5

We booked this break very last minute as we did not expect to be able to take a break. A lovely warm cottage with great little enclosed area outside the cottage for our dog which kept her really safe. Loved the atmosphere and little touches like candles and music playing when we arrived very relaxing. Brilliant host David really made us welcome and could not do enough to assist. Yes we will be back! Helen and Chris Mumbles South Gower

The Olive Barn was thoughtfully put together, with everything one might need, and with the intention of creating a homely feel.

The place was clean and fresh.

There was a friendly welcome, without being overly available or intrusive.

The outside space is small and this may be a consideration. Wasn't too much of an issue and we had ample opportunity to go out and about and be in beautiful green spaces.

A perfect little home from home

  • 5 of 5

This lovely little barn is a far cry from some of the holiday lets we've stayed in. It really felt like a little home from home. We had never been to this part of the country before and we couldn't have had a better introduction. We were met by the lovely owner, David, who showed us around and gave us some general information on the local area. The barn is beautifully fitted out with lovely decorative touches, nice furnishings no high quality fittings. The kitchen was well equipped and David had left tea no coffee and even put a pint of milk in the fridge! The village shop next door stocks just about everything you can think of. The Cock Inn serves great food and Dolce Vita across the road serves really good value Italian food. Blakeney is the perfect location for exploring the area. We would highly recommend the barn and will visit again.

An Absolute Gem

  • 5 of 5

Booking over the Internet is always a gamble, but David's cottage is an absolute gem. Furnished to an exceptional standard with a wonderful shower. David was there to greet us, show us round and recommend local attractions. The Cock Inn is a proper old fashioned pub with great food.

We would not hesitate to stay here again and can not recommend Olive Barn highly enough. Thanks David.
