If having spectacular views isn't important to you then read no further! This three bedroom flat is absolutely luxurious but that's not the main attraction. The outstanding features of this apartment are the spectacular views of Fistral beach ( from front balcony) , the Gannel Estuary and Crantock Beach (from back balcony) and Newquay town (from side balcony). So this puts luxuries like wine fridge, surround sound system, 52 inch smart TV, and deluxe double sink and walk in shower ensuite easily in second place. Everyone who comes in for the first time spends ages just staring out the window at the view! NEW for 2018 now allows one well behaved dog.

This penthouse apartment is the best on the block and we believe has the finest views in Newquay ! Our 3 sided balcony has the sun all day , watch the sun go down in the evening from the front .We are lucky to have 3 large double rooms , 2 doubles , 1 twin. There is an ensuite to the main room and a large family bathroom . We have a large surf store for bikes and surf stuff. Allocated parking . Surround sound system , 52" plasma TV in large open plan lounge /kitchen /diner. Wii sports, DVDs , library. Walk to Fistral beach , Crantock, coastal paths. Forget the surf cams just wake up and look out the window to judge for yourself when you take a dip !

Why Emma Shelton chose Newquay

Everyone who comes into this apartment goes straight to the window in the lounge and stares .... you are almost floating above the ocean . All there is in front of you is the expanse of the Atlantic . On a clear day you can see Trevose Head , and the lighthouse . Round the bay is Watergate Bay with Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant. Only 8 miles to Padstow and Rock for Rick Stein . As soon as we come here for the weekend we start to relax and the view outside is like therapy . The ever changing sky and the tide provide a perfect backdrop to the comfortable apartment. We love to walk to Crantock village and even further on the coastal path. We can walk to the iconic Headland Hotel and have a sundowner. Our local is the Lewinnick jutting out on the Pentire Headland with excellent bar and food.

What makes this apartment unique

You can follow the sun all day , start on the front balcony on the morning , move the side for lunch and finish off with the sunset overlooking the ocean .

Go back to the side with a beer and watch the lights go on in town as you tower above .

Beautiful place

We had a great week in Newquay with lots of things to do and beautiful beaches to discover. The penthouse is amazing very spacious and decorated to high standards with a view to Fistral beach to die for with everything to make you feel comfortable with lots of books games DVD’s etc. Welcome pack very yummy/thanks! Had a little hiccup with the WiFi but promptly sorted by Denise (the caretaker) overall a great experience and definitively would recommend it .

I don't think there can be a finer holiday property in Newquay.

First time in Cornwall in twenty six years. Holiday property was more than we really expected. I wish we could have packed the view in our case to bring back home with us. The penthouse is very well positioned and furnished. We were not disappointed with anything. Our grandchildren (10yrs:8yrs:5yrs) absolutely loved it. So much room for them. Its' closeness to the beach was great for the grandchildren, although a little steep for grandparents (old age creeping up). We would definitely like to return to this property for a future holiday.

Great location. Very easy walk to beach.

WRONG code to access the key was given by owner. Thankfully I had asked for the cleaners number before the vacation and they were able to provide the correct code. Internally the apartment was clean with very nice looking and clean bathrooms. However the glass doors to the front balcony of the apartment had not been included in the clean. The amazing view of the beach could not be enjoyed at all because of the amount of seagull poop on the glass doors and it made the living room feel dirty. Once I had cleaned the glass doors I could then enjoy the view and the living room took on a different feel.

Fabulous stay

Following a difficult year with illness we decided to stay for a week from boxing day for a week to see in the new year. The description is exact with views to die for given that my father was in a wheelchair we chose this property specifically for its views over fistrel beach and the need for a large open plan living area and a en-suite bathroom with walk in shower to cover his showering needs. I had contacted the owner prior to arrival asking numerous questions in relation to his needs etc and Emma was outstanding, she even supplied a shower seat and other disability needs. We arrived in the afternoon of boxing day and entry was quick and easy. The apartment easily sleeps 6 which suited us. The more able of us walked everyday from the apartment down a steep slope or more easily via the road way to fistrel beach and the headland towards the award winning Rick steins. The apartment was clean, fresh bed linen, towels, fully equipped with everything you would need for a stay. The kitchen/lounge diner is fabulous with enough room to cook, chat, eat at the dining area with fabulous views. The penthouse view is well worth the extra. My elderly parents loved their stay as did the younger ones of us. I would definitely recommend this property and cannot thank Emma enough for her help and considerations, and thankfully everything turned out well in the end. We did however leave a day early to ensure we didn't get stuck in bank holiday traffic but would dearly have loved to have had that last and final night. Thank you for a great stay.
