A great place to stay with great views looking out over the harbour. The location of the house is 1st class a short walk down into town or to the harbour to catch a boat to Brixham or Dartmouth. Everyone we met were very friendly and helpful will be coming back soon.
Lovely house with a great view from the balcony and sun terrace, comfortable lounge but a coffee table or nest of tables would help.
Kitchen is very nice, having a tv and seating area was an added bonus, beds are very comfortable but could do with a descent sized mirror in the main bedroom.
Bathrooms are good but the showers could do with a small shelf to put your shower gel etc... on.
Having allocated, secure parking plus a garage was an added plus.
Overall we realy enjoyed our stay at Riviera and would definitely consider returning.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Riviera - clean and comfortable with plenty of room for 6 of us (2 adults and 4 children) and in an excellent location. Would highly recommend this property. It was very helpful that towels were provided and we appreciated that coffee, tea bags, sugar, washing up liquid etc were supplied.
Beautiful house everything you could want from a holiday home only issue which is more for comfort than complaint is maybe cushions for the seats on the chairs in the kitchen/diner, we always spend most of our time in the kitchen and after a while the chairs can be uncomfortable. Have already made a booking for next year. Really is a home from home.
The property we stayed was nice. But it could it do with some mirrors about the place, cause when getting ready I only had one hand held mirror, maybe having a dressing table would be nice with a big mirror, especially for us women! !
Nice touch that there was flowers, milk, tea and coffee, dishwasher tablets and cloths etc...on arrival.
Description on how to get to the property was accurate and helpful.
Lovely views from balcony looking over to the harbour, pubs and restaurants down at the harbour was excellent. Entertainment in the pubs every night, and the locals were friendly. Lots to choose from.! Lots of nice shops as well, everything you needed was only a stones throw away. Boat trips and buses about so you can explore other villages and towns.
I would recommend staying there.
Over all, besides the property needing more mirrors and a few other little bits it was good. And the weather was kind to us that week.
The location of the house gives great views and is convenient for the town. The provision of tea and coffee on our arrival was a pleasant surprise. We were able to access the house early which was a blessing given we had our baby granddaughter with us. The house was clean and tidy with plenty of room and of course those views. Although I don't want to sound negative there were a few issues. The beds all had winter duvets not summer duvets, and we were blessed this year with great weather, and the central heating was on in the house until we eventually found the controls (behind the microwave). The hot water tank on the first floor was annoyingly noisey, some sort of vibration which could be heard all over the house. Whilst none of these ruined the experience they need looking at. My brother in law who was in the master bedroom suggested the addition of more hooks, to hang up clothes and towels and perhaps a set of drawers in the wardrobe simple things which would be appreciated by the guests.
