Concara has been converted to be perfect for a couple, with a bedroom on the top floor, and a living room, shower-room and kitchen on the ground floor. A sofa in the living room converts into a bed should you wish to book it for three, but space will be tight. The kitchen has been built in a glass extension to the main building, making a wonderful luminous space to cook in. A lawn stretches out in front of the kitchen, bordered by low limestone drystone walls that are used all around to terrace the hillside.
The surrounding woods were once all cultivated and are criss-crossed with beautiful dry-stone limestone walls, so thick they form raised paths. We have been carefully restoring these old walls and re-introducing crops, carefully chosen to fit the landscape and the situation. You'll find fruit trees dotted around the older oak and pine, and small, walled fields of bean plants, or potatoes. The house have also been given a new, green life and are self-sufficient for both electricity and hot water, making this a very ecological place to stay.
Concara is provided with a cosy and efficient wood stove. Wood logs are provided and free of charge.
In the estate there are two other houses Dolina (host 6) and Dolinetta (host 4). And 200 meters away a villa called Murella (host 6).
