A great location for a holidaying couple with only a twenty minute drive to so many of the Riviera beaches, 'Le Studio' has recently been refurbished and was originally the annexe to the 18th Century Mas to which it is still attached. Tastefully and simply decorated with all the modern amenities that you might need on holiday.
A new fully equipped modern kitchen including electric oven, induction hob, extractor hood, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, Nespresso machine, toaster, kettle and all the kitchen utensils you should need.
In the seating area is a small restored French farmhouse table, a comfy three seater sofa, a coffee table, television, DVD player and WIFI live box.
The bedroom which has a double bed (140cm x 200cm), a mirrored sliding wardrobe, and two bedside tables leads on to a bright en suite bathroom with its 170 x 75 cm walk in shower. Towels and bed linen are provided.
A smoke alarm and intruder alarm have both been installed in the apartment for your added security.
'Le Studio" has its own terrace with an Italian dining table for four and a stand alone barbecue. And, for your enjoyment, just a few paces away are a boules pitch and a table tennis table.
Secure spacious parking is available within the grounds of the Mas.
'Le Studio' is completely self contained and has it's own front door. It really is an 8 minute walk into the historic 17th century Valbonne village where you will find a different restaurant for every day of the week, a great Italian gelateria, a beautiful central square and bar, two boulangeries, a wonderful patissier, a superb cheese shop, a butcher, fishmonger, the most amazing greengrocer and a well stocked pharmacy, to name but a few!
If you love Golf we are in a perfect location as we are surrounded by golf courses, six within a 15 minute drive! And many more 10 - 15 minutes further away.
At 'Le Studio' you get the best of all worlds. A tranquil apartment and a sunny terrace, the vibrant (and sometimes noisy!) Valbonne village only a short walk away, the wonderful Riviera beaches within a twenty minute drive and the Alps the same distance in the opposite direction.
We have been living in Valbonne in the 17th Century Mas since moving from London in December 2012.
Tony Bloom purchased this apartment in 2012
The moment we saw the house we knew that we wanted to live in it and the close proximity to Valbonne village was an added bonus! You can't go wrong with the Côte D'Azur. And the weather!
The short walk to Valbonne village. The proximity to the Riviera beaches, the Alps, the forests, the numerous golf courses and to the shopping in Cannes and Nice.
Le Studio was an excellent choice for our holiday - it was exactly as described in the advert, beautifully presented and spotlessly clean on arrival. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. The owners were great and their input really enhanced our holiday experience. Valbonne was within easy walking distance of the property and was a beautiful village, with lots of great restaurants and shops. We would definitely recommend Le Studio to friends and family.
The property was amazing as was the setting it was in.
We had a wonderful time staying in Le Studio. The property itself is lovely; comfortable, private, pretty and with a kitchen equipped beyond our hopes and certianly our expectations. It's next door to the owners' house, and Tony and Jane were ever so friendly and welcoming, and advised us on things to do.
Valbonne is well-located, with plenty to do in easy striking distance. You can easily get to the cities and beaches of the Riviera - we hired a car, but there's a bus stop just outside on the main road. There are some fine mountains nearby and we enjoyed exploring the Verdon Gorge for a day. The nearby town, which you'll get to within ten minutes on foot, has enough restaurants that we dined in a different one each time we visited, and enjoyed all of them. It took us quite a few days of bustling happily around before it occurred that a day of doing very little might be pleasant, and lounging around at Le Studio was heavenly. There's a boules court / pitch / arena to use in the garden, too.
There's pretty well nothing we could suggest to improve our stay. Thanks very much to our hosts!
We booked Le Studio in Valbonne for our honeymoon purely because we liked the look of it, not really knowing the village or area, and wanted something quiet. We weren't disappointed! Provence and that part of France in general do not disappoint.
The accommodation was top notch and perfect for a couple needing peace and quiet. You're away from the main road, so it's peaceful, secluded and quiet. There's a great lavender-scented breakfast/dinner area; a BBQ, if you fancy it and a petanque (is that right?) area. The whole territory looks like it has been designed with some thought.
The house itself is very tastefully finished and spotless, the kitchen is fully equipped and I would say almost brand new in terms of decoration.
The owners, who live next door, and who are available if needs be for questions and discreet enough, if not, could not do enough to help. The "get to know your accommodation and surrounding area" information in the house was informative. A nice touch was the card and bottle of bubbly congratulating us on our recent wedding, and basic supplies in the fridge.
The wrong accommodation can help ruin a holiday, but fortunately, along with the wonderful scenery, proximity to the coast and its sandy beaches, delicious food and realistic 8-minute walk into the lovely little village of Valbonne, Le Studio helped make ours!
After being welcomed by our most cordial hosts Tony and Jayne, We found the accommodation to contain all the mod-cons and was sparkling clean. We were thrilled to find some fresh bread, cheese and a bottle of chilled wine, which really set the tone and kicked the holiday off in a special way. Had a great time Thank you Tony and Jayne.
We had a fantastic stay at La Studio. Tony and Jane were waiting for us after our long drive and greeted us very warmly from the start. They were there for us if we needed them but they were not intrusive at all. La Studio has every possible thing you could need from a holiday let and it was spotlessly clean. We felt at home straight away. The village of Valbonne with its quaint narrow streets and restaurants was typical of a French village. The restaurants were good value for money and about 8 mins walk from La Studio. The only downside was we were only there for a week. We would highly recommend this property.
Valbonne is set between the sea and the mountains so you have the best of both worlds within a 25 minute drive.
