We had a brilliant weekend staying in The Mews, just meters from the The Rec. The house was beautifully finished and accommodated the 6 of us with plenty room to spare. The beds were comfortable and the service excellent, I’d recommend it to anyone. It was great to be the first guests in and have everything brand new for us.

It’s an easy level walk to the city centre where there is a great choice of shops, restaurants, bars, museums, galleries and entertainment. There are many beautiful historic sites to explore and you are surrounded by wonderful architecture. You can also take advantage of proximity to The Rec, home of Bath Rugby with the season running from September to May and matches every two weeks. Telephone the Box Office outside the grounds (0871 721 1865) to book tickets up to 4 weeks in advance or visit www.seatexchange.co.uk for online tickets. There are also tennis courts in Sydney Gardens and Royal Victoria Park. At Vicky Park as the locals call it, there is a huge outdoor play area for children, crazy golf and hot-air balloon flights. At The Approach Golf Course in the city, you can play 18 holes whilst taking in wonderful views of Bath and the surrounding hills. The nearest supermarket is Waitrose, only a 5 minute walk away.
