Overview

About the property

2 Double bedrooms, 1 twin and one bedroom which can be either twins or superking

Crisp, bright and fresh, this well designed property for 8 in a quiet mews in central Bath is smartly styled from head to toe.

From the chic oak doors and floors, moss grey carpets, textured stone tiles, modern glass balustrades, stylish vertical radiators and clever fitted storage, this neat modern home has great assets. With a parking space outside the property and additional permit for another car, an easy level 5 minute walk to the city centre, 4 tranquil contemporary bedrooms and three dapper bathrooms on the ground and top floors, along with a stylish and sociable lounge, dining area and kitchen, this is the perfect fit for a great stay in Bath.

On the ground floor is a bright and spacious bedroom in grey and lilac with shuttered windows along the width of the room. Two single 3’ beds zip and link to become a 6’double. Built in storage units have shelves and hanging space and a door between leads to a smart contemporary en-suite shower room, which has a shower, WC and small hand basin.

The next bedroom in grey and pastel shades has two single beds, generous built-in storage with sliding doors, shelves and hanging space, a dressing table beneath a shuttered window and a large wall-mounted TV.

On this floor is a smart contemporary bathroom, with a bath (with overhead shower), hand basin and WC. A large cupboard holds a washing machine and separate dryer.

An inviting living area on the first floor has a sociable open-plan arrangement, with a living room at one end, a kitchen at the other and a dining area in-between. The attractive living area in greys, mauves and lively splashes of citrus colours is lit up by 2 pairs of full height French doors leading onto a narrow balconette with pretty wrought iron railings. There are a couple of sofas to comfortably seat 2 and 3, along with a couple of cute tub chairs. There is a wall mounted TV and a stylish sideboard holds a blue-ray DVD, Wi-Fi and a selection of films and books. The stylish dining area seats up to 8 on an extending glass table.

A large, bright, contemporary kitchen has light pouring in from two veluxes set in an overhead apex and a large window overlooking the tall Georgian terraces of Gt Pulteney St. The space is seamlessly fitted with glossy dove grey units and Corian worktops, with a lime-green glass cooker backsplash framing a large 4 ring induction hob. Mounted along a wall neatly lined with units from top to bottom, are 2 ovens (with the smaller oven functioning as grill and microwave), a large fridge with fresh box and small freezer compartment. There is a dishwasher and plenty of cupboard storage filled with everything you need to cook a fabulous meal.

On the top floor is a spacious master bedroom in grey and moss green, with a handsome upholstered 5’ double bed, fitted storage with drawers and hanging space and a dressing table with chair in an alcove. The window overlooks the mews buildings, The Rec, home to Bath RFC and the surrounding hills.

Another cosy double room under the eaves has a 4’6’’ double bed, a wardrobe and shelves.

Between them is a smart contemporary shower room, fully tiled in warm stone with a large walk-in shower, WC and hand basin.

There is a designated parking space right out front the property for 1 car. There is also a parking permit for an additional car for on street parking. Alternatively the Bath Spa train and bus stations are about a ten minute walk away.

Guestbook comments from the manager

We had a brilliant weekend staying in The Mews, just meters from the The Rec. The house was beautifully finished and accommodated the 6 of us with plenty room to spare. The beds were comfortable and the service excellent, I’d recommend it to anyone. It was great to be the first guests in and have everything brand new for us.

Lovely visit to Bath & a fabulous Rental

  • 5 of 5

We had a fabulous stay in Bath and this property was wonderful! We had a family of 5 (kids 11,10,7) plus 2 grandparents. There was plenty of space for everyone. Bath Holiday Rentals could not have been better to work with. We loved the welcoming treats they left us upon arrival. It was a short, nice walk into the city center directly over Pulteney Bridge. No more than 8 minutes. The property had everything we needed and when we had an issue with water temperature in one of the showers, the management company promptly sent someone right over to help. The decor of the property was lovely too. Just had a wonderful time and loved Bath!

Updated property in great location

  • 5 of 5

Perfect location. Easy walk to the a grocery store, restaurants and the sights in Bath. Quiet area just off a main road with parking for two. One parking place is directly in front of the home. A parking permit was provided for another space nearby. A nice clean and comfortable home. The rental company was excellent in providing information about the property and assisting us upon arrival. Had a wonderful stay.

Location, Clean and Comfortable! Best of the trip!

  • 5 of 5

Our Bath rental was hands down the most comfortable of our stay in the U.K. The middle floor dining and sitting area were a perfect place for our morning breakfasts and relaxing after a busy day of touring together. We traveled with two married couples and two singles. The layout was great for our group. Everyone had enough space and bathrooms. The location is really fantastic for seeing the city and the house was very clean and comfortable. Very happy with service from the owners regarding answering any questions quickly. I was very happy with our stay here! Best of the trip!!
