Our building has been completely cleaned in 2010.

The apartment is approximately 580 square feet with one bedroom (170 square feet) and a living room (210 square feet) and a separate dining room (100 square feet).

It's on the first floor with a wide and elegant staircase .

New elevator

The white-walled apartment was completely renovated in 2010 with the old beams of the eighteenth century in all the rooms.

The apartment overlooks a large, white, very clean courtyard, it is very quiet, it is exposed to the north but very clear because of the white walls.

All the windows are double glazed.

The bedroom has a double bed (queen size) that can be 2 simple des (2x80) on requête and there is a confortable sofa bed (160) in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped.

The decor is very cosy.

l'une des très belles rues de Paris. L'immeuble vient d'être 'ravallé' (nettoyé en décembre 2009/janvier 2010).

L'appartement est d'environ 53 m2 carrés, avec une chambre (19 m²), une salle de séjour (23 m²) et une salle à manger séparée.

C'est au premier étage avec un escalier large et élégant. Un ascenseur vient d'être installé

L'appartement aux murs blancs a été totalement rénové en janvier 2010 (les photos seront publiées en avril prochain) avec les vieilles poutres du XVIIIème siècle dans le salon, la cuisine et la salle à manger.

L'appartement donne sur une cour d'environ 400 m², il est très calme, les fenêtres sont en doule vitrage, il est exposé au Nord

La chambre à coucher est avec un grand lit (queen size). le canapé convertible est également en 160. La cuisine est entièrement équipée.

La décoration est très soignée.

Why Francine BERGER DUQUENE chose 6th St-Germain-des-Pres

This is where we lived when we were students and hère se met. St Germain des Prés is the most lively place and the most 'fun' in Paris.

We bought this apartment, not to rent it but to live in when we come to Paris (3 or 4 months per year). It is therefore arranged for us, with all due care.

C'est l'endroit où nous avons vécu lorsque nous étions étudiants. C'est le quartier le plus vivant et le plus 'sympa' de Paris.

Nous avons acheté cet appartement, non pas pour le louer, mais pour y vivre quand nous venons à Paris, 3 ou 4 mois par an). Il est donc aménagé pour nous, avec tout le soin nécessaire.

What makes this apartment unique

5 minutes to go to the theater or one of the 13 cinemas closed to, between 20 and 30 restaurants in less than 150 m and so, even late at night, you can find restaurants open.

15 bus lines no more than 100m from the apartment to go everywhere in Paris (I give you the plans in the 'welcome book' to find how to go where you want)

2 metro lines at 50m, à 3rd one (direct to Roissy AirPort) at 150m

Shopping, shopping, shopping ... and the place is so alive, at any time of day, even at night ... but the apartment is so quiet!

5 minutes pour aller au théâtre ou à l'un des 13 cinémas à proximité et puis, même tard dans la nuit, n'importe où on peut trouver des restaurants ouverts.

15 lignes de bus à moins de 100 m pour aller partout dans Paris, je vous donne le plan de toutes les lignes dans le livre d'accueil

2 lignes de métro à la station Odéon à 50 m, une troisième ligne à 150m directe pour l'aéroport de Roissy

Shoping, shoping, shoping ... et l'endroit est si vivant, à tout moment de la journée, même de la nuit ... mais l'appartement est si calme!

absolutely quiet, night and day elevator A very important welcome book is provided with anything about the life in Paris : the Metro, the bus, (15 lines less far than 100 m from the apartment, the way to reach the main points in Paris, the place where to take each of them with a separate plan for each), the way to reach the airports, when you'll leave the taxi number, the place where are the usual (and the best) shops for food shopping, pressing, market in the street, and so on the notices for washing machines, the owen, ... (sorry, not all in English) and so on More than 250 CD (only classical music, apologies for those that don't like that ... but they are not obliged to use them !) A welcome gift is provided

We really enjoyed our stay in Francine's well-situated, comfortable and well-equipped apartment. The Breizh creperie on the corner is terrific too!

Wonderful apartment in a gorgeous neighborhood

We loved our stay in Francine's apartment. She was a wonderful host and was able to accommodate an early arrival and even an extension to our visit. She provided recommendations and directions for nearby markets, stores and restaurants in a binder located in the apartment.

The apartment itself is charming and perfectly located in one of the most upscale neighborhoods in Paris. Its central location is a short walk from beautiful Luxemborg Gardens, the Louvre and the D'orsay.

I highly recommend this property.

Spectacular -Location and Comfort!!

My husband and I are just back from a week's stay at this marvelous apartment. The location is ideal - an easy walk from the Luxembourg RER station which was a quick and easy trip from CDG. The Odeon Metro stop was also extremely convenient. Although the neighborhood is lively, the apartment itself was very quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinners out (Le Comptoir *****) Luzia was there to meet us and was not only welcoming but also helpful in showing us how to operate the TV and get ourselves connected to the Internet. The apartment is very big for Parisian standards and we thoroughly enjoyed having a dining room to enjoy the many French culinary treats that we would pick up during our travels. The boulangerie-patisserie of Gerard Mulot on rue de Seine was excellent! The separate living room provides plenty of space. The washer-dryer is a great addition. The apartment is nicely laid out so that if someone wants to sleep in, the other person would be able to make coffee and have a place to sit without disturbing the other. And there are fluffy white robes! The bathroom was big and the double sinks were appreciated. I am so happy to have found this spacious oasis of calm in my favorite Parisian neighborhood. We are already planning our next trip and look forward to staying here again. The owners, Alain and Francine were great to deal with and promptly responded to any of our emails. Highly recommended!!

Near perfection

Nothing is perfect, but this apartment is very close. It is in great shape, very spacious and exceptionally clean. The bedroom is quite large with shower attached. It has a separate dining room and a very roomy living area with a comfortable pull out sofa/bed. Off of the living room is a small lavatory. TV, stereo and excellent wifi service are all included. A small kitchen has all of the needed amenities.

The location could not be any better. The apartment is very quiet, set back off a side street, but very close to Blvd. St. Germain, the Odeon Metro station, The Odeon Theater, movie theaters and everything the Left Bank has to offer. It is very walkable to many Parisian highlights. Getting anywhere in Paris is quite easy from here.

The owner was extremely responsive to any questions we had. My family & I could not have been more pleased and will definitely stay there again when we next have the opportunity to visit Paris. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone planning a trip to this wonderful city.

A thoroughly enjoyable week

This is a charming apartment in a great location in the 6th arr. It's probably the largest one bedroom apartment I have ever seen in central Paris.

I found the apartment comfortable and "homey." I especially enjoyed sampling Francine's CD collection since her taste is somewhat different from mine.

While the apartment itself is really quite nice, I think a bigger selling point may be the location -- at least for some renters. It's a short walk to St. Sulpice, Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens; other favorite sites are a short subway or bus ride away. However, it's worth noting that even though it's close to everything, the neighborhood and apartment were amazingly quiet.

Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable week.
