Magnificent completely secluded granite house located in an delightful spot in Cap de la Chèvre!

Big garden, sea view, this is a regularly renovated house.

All services, modern conveniences, satellite television, internet 3G (reasonable connection included — high-speed internet organised by the town hall is not yet available in February 2015).

The house offers a vast living/dining room. There are three bedrooms in the main house and a large bedroom in the attached house with a small additional living room and satellite TV.

This house will delight nature lovers with exceptional views.

We have no neighbours and the property cannot be looked into from the outside. The house is in the heart of the natural setting of Cap de la Chèvre, on the edge of the bustling village of Rostudel.

About M Trystram

Owners since 1973, our family has always renovated and look after this granite house that we really love!

We have always spent holidays in here in every season.

Our mother has even written a book about this house named 'Comme un Rêve de Pierre' [As a stone dream] (edited by Seghers in 1999).

Why M Trystram chose Chateaulin area

Renting this house allows us to look after it in a better way. All funds collected are going to be invested in the maintenance and renovation of our house.

What makes this house unique

Exceptional view! Discover this secluded house that cannot be looked into from the outside.

It is located on the edge of the village of Rostudel at the end of Cap de la Chèvre (last village before the sea!).

We have fallen in love with this house. My parents bought it 40 years ago and we have always renovated and looked after in order to keep up with modern comforts in Cap de la Chèvre, rated by Grand Sîte.

The location is majestic and the house is located at its heart. We can see the sea from any angle.

Lovers of nature, the sea, will not be disappointed.

There are two big bedrooms with double beds and a children's bedroom (two beds) that gives onto one of the two master bedrooms.

All bedrooms have sea view.

There is also a big bedroom/living room with TV and Mezzanine renovated in 2015 in the secluded house on the courtyard. It is ideal for young teenagers.

There is a bathroom and WC in the main house.

You can find a shower and an additional WC on the courtyard.

The large kitchen boasts a vast fridge, a freezer, an oven, a microwave oven, electric hobs, many storage spaces, and small household appliances.

The house features a large living and a dining room.

We always renovate our house; the money collected in the rental is completely re-invested. Built in 2014: courtyard and terrace in stone 2015 renovations include paintings in the master bedroom, fittings on the additional room that is accessible through the courtyard. This space houses a bedroom on the Mezzanine and a living room with satellite TV.

What a fantastic location in a fantastic region. Really at the end of the world. Certainly when you go off-season. During the whole week, we saw only two (2!) non-French cars! I would recommend this place to everyone... but maybe not with the weather we had... severe storms, thunder, hail and now and then a little bit of sun. But still then everything had his charm. The beaches, the cliffs, the inland, hiking trails, restaurants, … all of them were superb. Every era in history signed here. From geological sites over menhirs, mediaval wars to world-war inheritance… you can find it here. This place is on our list to come back (although in another season). The house has everything you need – all appliances are foreseen, spacious, large garden (seen from inside - the weather you know 😊 )fantastic view over the bay… One drawback is the surcharge of the electricity. But this is (again) mostly because of the weather. All heating is on electricity, and if you want to stay warm during winter, you have to turn them on. But overall, we were very satisfied with our first week in Bretagne. Thanks to Veronique for the warm welcome and special thanks from the kids for the leaving-breakfast 😊

Mezguen is great

We enjoyed 3 weeks in your wonderful house .The Kitchen was fully loaded

and we had some cozy hrs in your big living room with its open fire place.

Entertainment and WIFI works very well if needed .Everything was clean and friendly

We love the nice and quiet natural area for long walkings from the house to the beach

The Housekeeper was very helpful

We sure will come back in the future ,Merci beaucoup for a exceptional holiday

Maison extraordinaire dans un paysage magnifique!

Wir haben mit acht Leuten einen wunderschönen Urlaub auf der Halbinsel Crozon verbracht! Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet (die tausenden Küchenutensilien habe ich selbst nicht mal in meiner eigenen Wohnung... ), die Bilder geben den Gesamteindruck perfekt wieder. Der große Garten und die Terrasse wurden von uns auch noch im Oktober viel genutzt, da es noch sehr mild war.

Am Haus vorbei führt direkt der Wanderweg zur Küste, die in wenigen Minuten erreicht ist. Das Haus eignet sich also perfekt für Küstenwanderungen, Mountainbiketouren und die nächsten Sandstrände sind auch nicht weit entfernt. Für Surfer empfiehlt sich insbesondere la plage Palue, für Wanderer natürlich das Ziegenkap, aber auch die Steilküste bei Camaret! Traumhaft!

Wer Lust auf einen Aktivurlaub in einem Haus mit tollem Flair hat, ist hier genau richtig! Merci beaucoup pour ces vacances géniales!

Un lieu de rêve

Presqu'à l'extrémité du Cap de la Chèvre, ce penty est un lieu de rêve. Du très grand jardin, on y a une belle vue sur la pointe de Pen Hir; on est à un jet de pierre du sentier des douaniers (GR34), à quelques km des belles plages de La Palue et de Lostmarc'h, sans oublier l'île vierge. C'est un coin de la presqu'île de Crozon où la nature a gardé ses droits et où l'habitat est resté traditionnel. Si en plus le soleil y est de la partie (la photo n'est pas trafiquée, nous avons pris presque la même cet avril), on n'a plus envie de le quitter.

The house is located in an exceptional location in Cap de la Chèvre. This is a preserved location, peaceful, wild, and secluded. The natural scenery is magnificent with the sea surrounding this peninsula that we can see from the house. Many boardwalks are accessible from the house, bordering the Atlantic, with a wild and imposing coast, or leading towards the Douarnenez Bay that is unspoilt with scenery similar to the Mediterranean (guaranteed).

You can go directly by foot to La Palue Beach, in around 35 to 45 minutes depending on the rhythm of the walk. Enjoy a magnificent cliff top walk along an inshore path.

In addition, there is a more sheltered walk by the side of the bay down to the beach of Ile Vierge (in the town of Crozon). This small beach has been featured in a tourist guide about... Corsica! You can read the magazine in the Morgat tobacco-bar!

In addition, there are many nautical activities available thanks to the Centre Nautique de Crozon Morgat (well known). You can practice all types of dinghy and catamaran sailing, surfing, kite surfing, kayak, and nautical tours.

In case of rain, you can spend the day in Océanopolis, located in Brest. In this conservation centre, you can observe the marine diversity and rare species in a natural environment, for example penguins, sharks, seals, and many more besides...

Another possible expedition is to the city of Quimper, a delightful pedestrianised city centre with a very interesting museum.

There are plenty of activities for all tastes and for all weather!
