New and with a great view, we have two apartments next to each other on the top floor.
This property is well located and on the top floor of this new build house. The center of Reykjavík is just few minuets walk and Reykjavík center is well known for number of good restaurants and filled with live, music, museums and coffeehouses.
My mother and I stayed here in February 2017. Our host Bjorn was very responsive to our inquiries before and after our stay. After we received record snowfall, Bjorn thoughtfully cleaned the snow off of the balcony for us. Bjorn provided us with a list of recommendations before our arrival so we had a chance to see what Reykjavik has to offer. Our stay was incredible. We will definitely come back to see the puffins and explore other parts of Iceland. Highly recommend this rental!
A great apartment to explore Reykjavik from! Clean, modern and with an ideal location for city centre exploration! Highly recommended
This apartment was the perfect home base for my recent trip to Iceland. My husband and I spent a few days between Reykjavik and exploring the South Coast and the apartment was convenient for walking the main city streets and also getting onto the main roads for travel. The parking garage was a great benefit! Everything in the apartment was clean, modern, and just as pictured when we arrived. The view was beautiful and made for some great pictures from the small balcony. Bjorn was helpful and very responsive in answering my questions to make me feel comfortable through the booking process. I would definitely recommend this property!
This apartment is the perfect place for a iceland getaway. The location is ideal, just off the main high street and the view is exceptional.
Did not want to leave, and already planning our next visit!
Bjön couldn't have been more helpful!
We stayed in Bjorn's apartment for three nights in early January 2017. The booking process was easy and stress-free.
We weren't lucky enough to catch the Northern Lights from the balcony, but it's possible. Nevertheless, good weather rewards you with a clear view of mountains in the distance, which was lovely.
The apartment is spacious for two guests and was clean and tidy. We were surprised to have to buy our own toilet paper on arrival, and make the bed as well - not things we'd expect to have to do. The arrival book also indicates that a thirty euro charge is due if the place is not left as it was found. We can understand that leaving an absolute mess would be inappropriate, but we don't feel it should be the guest's responsiblity to maintain the place for the next inhabitants, so were slightly put off by that.
Those things aside, this is a convenient place to stay and is just around the corner from a major hotel from where you can arrange pick-ups for tours. It's not central to the centre of town so you'll be walking a bit to get there, but given the best of Iceland is outside of Reykjavík, this wasn't a problem.
We stayed at this apartment during our 3 day layover. It is very clean and quiet. Grocery stores were close. It was next to a hotel that made tour pick up easy. Close enough to downtown and the waterfront. Beautiful views!!!
Reykjavík city center has everything to offer that a comes with what a city can offer, but with a Icelandic twist :) Many restaurants with a great chefs with one of the best food material in the world. Bars, museums, cinemas, whale watching and many many other things to do when you visit Reykjavík.
