Nice house for couples and families who want to rest in a quiet area, close to the main beach of Can Picafort, in an environment of Mediterranean design. This home has been completely renovated in March 2011, the fully equipped kitchen. The condo is a perfect choice for a family with children who want to be in a beautiful and safe beach and with many options and attractions for both children and parents. 'Laia' is located just 50 meters from the sea.

Layout

The house has two floors, two large terraces, table tenis and a bicycle storage, perfect for cyclists.

On the first floor, you can find a large area with a dining area for six and a living room with two sofas and a plasma TV with satellite, cinema, DVDs and Playstation 3, near this area is a beautiful terrace with garden furniture, ideal for relaxing a moment. The house has wireless Internet access.

Cleaning charges are included in the rental price. This circustance does not exempt the client from his obligation to look after the property. Nothing will take from the deposit as long as the use of the house is reasonable.

There is a kitchen with all amenities, dishwasher, oven, coffee ... it communicates with another terrace with a large table for six, loungers and ideal for dinners made al fresco barbecue, on this floor there is a bathroom .  Climbing the stairs to the second floor are three bedrooms with plenty of light (One room with double bed of 180 cm x 190 cm, a second bedroom with a bed of 150 cm x 190 cm and the third bedroom with two double beds 90 cm x 200 cm. other bathrooms with whirlpool, all rooms have a balcony and air conditioning.

Clean, private, close to the sea front

This property was wonderful, I couldn't recommend it more. My husband and I rented it for 10 nights for our cycling / running honeymoon, although the there were three rooms and only two of us we really wanted somewhere with a private balcony. The whole apartment was fantastic, the private balcony had a wonderful view of the mountains and sun first thing in the morning until around 3 pm (late may) and had the sun again from 6 with the sun setting in full view over the mountains. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils so I cooked a couple of nights. Ca'n Picafort is a beautiful setting with a paved walk by the sea and lovely beaches. The location was great, half way along the paved sea front (a very convenient 5km run!) and plenty of restaurants to choose from of varying kinds of atmosphere. If you walk far enough to the east you get to the lovely Son Baulo nature park, definitely worth an explore!

My only criticism of the apartment is that the master bed has a collapsed mattress which meant we had to flip it and I used the single bed's duvet as a mattress topper for added comfort.

Thanks so much to Juan too who was fantastic organising fixing the wifi that had broken! I would definitely recommend this apartment, whether there is 2 of you or a family.

Laia is a lovely house perfect for a large family.

Laia is a lovely house perfect for a large family. Upon arrival Juan met us just as we arrived with the taxi from the airport and thoroughly explained everything we needed to know about the property. The house was exceptionally clean and tidy and the extra bed that we had requested was set up and made up. The area is a quite residential area and only minutes from the harbour and the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Laia and especially loved the roof terrace. We hope to come back one day!

If you are looking for a more independent experience that is clean with all the facilities you will need, this is it. We enjoyed 8 wonderful days of sun and fun. Of all the places we stayed in Mallorca, our favorite was Alcudia.

Todo lo que necesitábamos

Diez días en familia al lado del mar. La casa muy bien equipada y casi todo nuevo. Con mucho espacio y muy luminosa. Disfrutamos mucho de la terraza, fresca y agradable sobre todo por las noches. La sensación es de gran comodidad, como si estuvieses en tu propia casa. La recomiendo sin duda.

It is just 200 meters from one of the largest bays of the island, linking Alcudia and Can Picafort. We can not go windsurfing, kite surfing, enjoy long walks. Can Picafort area that offers all services, restaurants, bakery, supermarket ...

In Alcúdia and Can Picafort, there are a lot of activities. The streets of Alcudia are a mosaic of the different Mediterranean cultures. Centuries ago, the North of Mallorca was a strategic political point because of its privileged position between the two bays protected by mountains. Alcudia became the most important Roman city in the Balearic Islands and was known as Pollentia. Near the hotel you can visit the ruins of Pollentia which constitute the main Roman remains of Mallorca. It is also possible to see the remains of Muslim and Christian conquests and the influences of Italian Renaissance. Alcudia has much to offer for those interested ??in nature and ecology. The Albufera Nature Reserve is nearby and offers a quiet haven of beauty and a variety of birds.

Course for water sports, cycling ... It is surrounded by cafes, restaurants and shops. We can also enjoy the atmosphere of the island with various pubs, traditional restaurants and all necessary accessories.
